Chris Van Dusen is the author and illustrator of several highly acclaimed picture books, and is also the illustrator of the hugely popular Mercy Watson series. He lives in Camden, Maine, with his wife, two sons, and dog.

My kids (5, 8, and 10) and I love this book! The illustrations are detailed and beautiful. The rhyming words are fun to read. Chris Van Dusen knows what kids like and this book celebrates their imaginations. One of our favorite books from one of our favorite authors.
My son loves this author. His illustations are so detailed and fun. Great book to keep kids interested in reading. We have all of the books he has written and cant't wait for more!
