Maybe 3.5 stars. This was a very sweet, very short story. I loved Autumn and Gray. It was harder for Autumn to give in to love having been through what we know she dealt with from her part in As Dust Dances. Gray was all about getting her to give him a chance though. And he went after her full speed. Which makes sense, Autumn was only in the area on a holiday. I liked how Gray was able to help her figure out what she really wanted to do now that she'd gotten away from Scotland and her brother. But I also understand her hesitancy to move so far away from her brother, her only real family. So it was easy to see just why she held out as she did.

Their chemistry had me hooked! I really loved Autumn from As Dust Dances so it is really great to have learnt and read more about her. I enjoyed her character development and loved that even though it was a Novella it didnt feel rushed or short. I did however want more but that is always the beauty of SY, you are always wanting more. Beautifully written with a strong female lead trying to find her way, she is not rescued by the handsome and strong Gray but I would say that he does enable her to truly feel the love she has been looking for and deserves. This in turn really helps her figure herself out, which is beautiful to see unfold and read. They have the best chemistry which of course just makes you never want to stop reading their romance. It is also a really good stand alone read and you are able to pick up the information without having to have read any of the other books. If you have then you will love the continuation and also getting a glimpse back into As Dust Dances, which is always a treat! I think having a cross over was great as well and I am a big fan as to me it makes me feel like these characters are really living. It's like real life, two different people coming from two different backgrounds and stories coming together. Gray is an another amazing book boyfriend, strong and also sweet. There is this initial sense of enemies which is always fun to create the extra tension. If you're looking for a story you can sink your teeth into quickly then this is a great one to start with!

I liked Autumn since meeting her in As Dust Dances. She hasn’t had much luck with men. Then she meets Gray. She’s apprehensive with good reason. I immediately fell in love with Gray. He is a man’s man, but still manages to be charming. The relationship moves fast, but Gray and Autumn have great chemistry and it works. Even though this was a novella, I still managed to get all the feels. This was a quick, sweet and steamy read that left me feeling satisfied.

What a wonderful novella, I loved Autumn O’Dea in As Dust Dances, and I loved that I got to catch up with Killian and Skylar, in Autumn’s sweet novella. It was lovely to watch Autumn bloom with the help of Grayson King (I just love that name), a (could be) ski instructor and construction company owner who immediately falls for Autumn and her cute Scottish accent. Unwilling to take no for answer (no matter how many times she refuses him), Grayson’s persistence eventually pays off and he manages to wear her down for a date. Perfect writing, a wonderful story, my only complaint, the story definitely finished too soon. I could have read about Autumn and Grayson in a full length novel. A quick, easy and delightful read, I received an advanced copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review.

Autumn O’Dea is taking a break from men. While on vacation in Montana she literally crashes into Gray King on the ski slopes. Little does she know this will change her life for the better. Gray is literally struck by Autumn and now has to convince her to take a chance on them! Loved this cross over book!

When I got the chance to get the ARC of this book I knew I needed it! If you follow my reviews, then you know that I'm obsessed with Samantha Young's books. Her characters are lovely, the emotions portrayed are realistic, and they are good books to escape to. Hold On is no different. Hold On is a story about Autumn, Killian's little sister. We met both Killian & Autumn in Samantha's book As Dust Dances so, it was exciting to catch another glimpse of their lives together. Autumn wears her heart on her sleeve and is continuously being hurt for it. She's someone that many women will be able to relate to and I loved that. The chemistry between her and Grey is out of this world. The banter was fantastic, and I really enjoyed watching her grow as a character. My one complaint with this book is that it wrapped up too nicely, and way too quickly. I would have loved to see more of a struggle, but that is the curse of a novella. There is only so much room for a plot, but I really would have loved to see more in this book. Ultimately, I'm giving this 4 caffeinated stars because it was a short, cute, steamy read that fits well into the Play On series. I have never read one of Kristen Proby's books but I'm truly intrigued. I will definitely need to pick up a Big Sky novel.

I really enjoyed this book. It was sweet but steamy. Gray just owns his confidence and I loved it. I understood Autumn’s hesitation in jumping into a relationship so quickly. But sometimes you just have to take the leap of faith that it will all work out.

I know stories that have insta-love in them aren't a favorite with some romance readers, but I choose to see Samantha Young's latest release as more of a story about true love and how, when it finds you, you should hold on to it. I've read both Young's Play On series and Kristen Proby's Big Sky series, and I must say that Young did a great job melding both worlds together. I'm a wee bit of a cynic (yes, I'm a cynical romantic, go figure!), and yet I was on board when it came to Gray and Autumn. Yes, it was quick, and yes, it may seem fantastical, but just because it hasn't happened to me doesn't me finding love in a short amount of time isn't possible. In less than a hundred pages, Young created a love story that made put a smile on my face and my heart swooning. Five stars for Hold On. ♥

Hold On puts emotions to the test. From a bond between siblings to a romance in the works, Young takes on love at it's most challenging and ends up Inspiring. Autumn is learning about herself. An optimist in a world of cynicism, she needs a bit of distance to follow her heart. That distance leads her into the arms of Grayson. Her heart tells her, he could be the man of her dreams, her mind has a different opinion. Can she get out of her head long enough to allow her heart to decide?
