About the Author

Cynthia Rylant has used her experiences growing up in Appalachia to write over one hundred beautiful children’s books, including fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. She is the author of several series, including Annie and Snowball, Henry and Mudge, and Mr. Putter and Tabby. Her novel Missing May won the Newbery Medal in 1993 and A Fine White Dust was a Newbery Honor Book in 1987.

Henry loves to spend time with Mudge in the fall- they do things a little bit differently, but they love each other the same. Henry is afraid of scary stories, but not as much as Mudge. Henry doesn¿t like his Aunt Sally until he finds out she likes Mudge.

you'll never take your eyes off it. its packed with fun and aventures. its an awesome book just for me and kids my age.
