Kay Lyons wrote an unusual story with a deft hand. Seth and Grace met years ago. Jake, his brother, was Grace's friend, but Seth was the one she dated. Just when things became serious, Grace left town with her baby brother. Seth was left behind with unanswered questions. Years later, Seth was in an accident and found himself paralyzed from the waist down. Jake had gone through sixtherapists and now he called in the very last one. Grace was back as his therapist, and now he was her oatient. Ms. Lyons dealt with rape, child abuse, and the repercussions of these on children. Grace had never had a relationship because of her abusive stepfather. His horrible words cursed her and kept her from intimacies. The story was one full of steps of courage and the strength of trust in a relarionship. I recommend this to everyone.

Got interested in it as the Friday book for my Nook. Only put it down a couple of times while reading so I could finish work at my job. It was a great read. Thank you.

Wish there were more stories like this one being told. A love story that was truly about people and not their sexual escapades. Well worth your time. J

While Grace began this story a strong and confident woman, her childhood insecurities reduced her to a quaking woman with low self esteem. Seth begins this story as a raging man learning to live as a paraplegic, he quickly becomes the strong and supportive man in her life. Pretty predictable, but a clean, sweet, quick read

What a good romantic sincere book true to life in its acceptance of disabilities

A lot of the story line involves a rape, which readers sshold have been warned about. If I would have known, I.would have not read the book. The romance was well written and the author did a great job communicating the chemistry between main characters. Would have rated the book higher if it did not focus so much on the rape without warning the readers of the tough subject matter.

The resistance to physical therapy after severe injury was accurately imaged. Pain takes all forms. Shout out to the me too movement as wellThe general moral is that the mind body connection is important with a generous sprinkle of love. Good story for thise who have ever dealt with psychological trauma or physical recovery. A quick read.

Got this as a Free Friday book. Throughly enjoyed this read.

when I looked at the cover of this B & N Free Friday book I groaned. I do not like Romance & this looked like a gushy cowboy romance. Only reason I tried it was the 4+ rating. This is really complex family drama. Character development & plot is very very good. I really enjoyed it & finished it in 1 day. Bought the 2nd book, again very cautiously since no rating on it yet. I'll let you know.
