About the Author
Rob Shaver is a middle school band director and music teacher in a Midwestern town. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in music education from Anderson University (Anderson, Indiana), and a Master of Music degree in piano performance from the University of Maryland. He began teaching in 1993. His first job was in a large school in Frederick, Maryland, which he loved. Since 2000 he has taught in a smaller school in Tipton, Indiana, which he loves even more.
