This book truly was cut in half. The parts dealing with the War Of Kings were phenomenal but the parts involving future/alternate Guardians were less than stellar. Abnett and Lanning do their normal cosmic craziness and superb dialogue but there was too much reliance on time-hopping. One time would have been sufficient. The shocks and turns were usually undone too quickly. The art by Brad Walker was fantastic but Wesley Craig's was too cartoony and unfinished. Overall, another good entry in the series that could have been better if streamlined.
