Twenty-song collection including all of their big chart hits, as well as key album tracks like "(Theme From) The Monkees" and "Mary, Mary," and the ace B-side "Goin' Down." The slightly more extensive Arista anthology still has the edge, due to the inclusion of two good cuts ("Take a Giant Step" and "She") that are somehow omitted from this Rhino compilation. On the other hand, if you're still in the market for just one Monkees album, this will do just fine. Good, extensive liner notes, though the last two songs (from 1987 singles that only featured Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork) are a waste.

The worthless Board of the R&Roll Hall of Fame still choose's to induct lesser groups year after year ignoring and Boycotting the Monkees. So be it the, they still Live-On and Rock on from the 60"s. It is an injustice, they made Great Classic Rock and Roll and it's mostly all here on this Rhino release. Thank God for the Monkees and Rhino Records. Parents and Grand-Parents do your self a favor and expose your children to Great clean music from the Monkees!!!
