I enjoyed reading this story! Acan, the God of Wine does things that maked me laugh and Margarita is a single parent raising a daughter and does not drink alcohol. Love how they meet and what happens throughout the story and love how it ends! I recommend this book!!!!!

The only problem is I can't seem to find other stories that are supposed to go along with it, "soon."

Holy guacamole!!! This book is a trip!!! Ups and downs. Clowns., unicorns, beer, Margarita and all forms of alcohol…. I'll tell you one thing… the things, and images that come out of Mimi's head and manage to become a movie in your head will have you spinning!!!! And more if you enjoy this book drinking one of the yummy - delicious sounding-must make now drinks that are in the book!!! Yep you read correctly we get our very own Acan certified recipes for specialty drinks… I'll let you know how it went when I try one or three…… Anyhoot , this book is amaze balls, laugh out loud funny moments, hilarious scenarios, out if this reality personalities, and all the good reading that are now a trademark for this series and for Miami. This book is part of The Immortal Matchmakers series. And if you've read this series you know there are some thing that need to come to pass so there won't be an end of this world apocalypse, and I keep wondering what new trip I'm going on while reading Mimi's book. “Note to godly self: smite evil ex-spouse of Margarita” For this installment, we have Belch… the God of wine. A very abhorrent kid of guy… beer belly, drunk, unclean, vulgar… but still the god of a good party, and who thinks he is all that and more. Then we have Margarita, a very uptight gal, she is in her forties with a daughter, which I really loved!!!! I mean usually the heroines in the book are twenty-somethings or thirty at most, so I was a very pleasant surprise!. And she IS all that, a self made woman, a very strong and uptight role model for her 16 year old daugher. So how can two completely different people even consider being together and I mean in the same room!!!! Well, things get complicated as you will find out, since Belch need to find his better half, and doesn’t seem to quite get what it means. This book is not just laughs and giggles, even though it is fantasy and rom com and all that i does has its hidden message, You are not perfect, and you do not have to be, you just have to try your hardest to be the best person you can be!!! And sometimes, what you thought was bad, in a more moderate way it is good.

Oh. My. Gods. What a fun book! While it no doubt would have been better if I had red the previous books in the series, I was still able to enjoy this installment without having read them. I met many entertaining people and deities (creatures, too), and even got to see the latest development in a minor storyline that will unfold over the course of the series. As usual, Mimi gave me several laugh-out-loud moments while at the same time left me fanning myself after a couple of steamy almost-love scenes (yes, there was more than one!) The story kept me engaged and eagerly turning the pages, and I am now a HUGE fan of the series and can't wait for the next book!!! (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

I received a REVIEW copy in exchange for an honest review It’s like Mission Impossible meets the Dating Game for the socially inept. God of Wine, Intoxication, and … oh that new found power is not good at all Acan, better known as Belch has a matter of weeks to find his perfect mate or become a force of immeasurable destruction to the human race. How hard could it be to lose the beer belly he’s acquired over the last 10,000 years, find and win the perfect mate, and save the World from himself. Easy right? Not so much, when he can’t even remember to wear pants. With New Years Eve just a few weeks away Acan’s powers will naturally spike affecting millions of people but this time it will be a bloodbath unless he can stop the conversion to evil. A chance meeting in an elevator with a drunk, naked, crude man is not Margareta’s idea of a good time. Yet when he “compliments” her womanly attributes she is both disgusted and turned on. He’s the opposite of everything she admires in a person. Margareta owns a gym, eats healthy, works hard, and NEVER imbibes in alcohol so what is it about this guy that she is so drawn to, and why has she agreed to try and help him? None of his brethren take Belch seriously; he has no marketable skills or powers as far as they are concerned. I mean what is the point of being able to know every person’s perfect drink just by looking them in the eye? How does that do anything for humanity other than result perpetual hangovers? A mere teenager in mentality Belch needs a personal assistant just to ensure he has underwear on let alone pants. So when all the gods except Zac (who has his own problems) are suddenly indisposed he must rely on himself to find his mate save humanity. Acan and Margareta must navigate the minefields of their individual pasts to see if what they have is more than mutual disgust and attraction. Can Margareta look past his exterior to see the man that has hidden depths that not even he is aware of? And can he be the man to help Margareta move beyond her own issues from a haunted past? Mimi has a knack for writing characters that are inherently flawed, but still relatable. You can’t help but laugh at their missteps and root for their success.

Wanted-Female who doesn’t mind the total commando look-willing to put up with HUGE ego-occasional beer belly. Must be fire-proof and have high tolerance to alcohol! Goal-save The God of Wine from himself. Acan is the original party animal, anywhere he goes parties just happen! Kind of like the Santa of New Year’s with a lime twist, delivering intoxication and joy wherever he goes. Too bad he has a dark side that will overtake him if he doesn’t find a mate soon, like now. Never one to choose one flavor when there is a rainbow to choose from, Acan is in BIG trouble and he is clueless as to how be faithful, let alone a husband! Then there is that not so little problem, drinking makes his pants fall off, so why not spend life flying free? He is a god, you know! Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, but can Acan really attract his perfect mate once he opens his mouth? Margarita has had a tough life, and since leaving her abusive husband, she and her daughter are living free. Margarita has even opened a health club, sooooooo, gee, what do YOU think will happen? What pulls a rabid non-drinker, fitness freak to the arrogant Acan? Trust me his pantless state is a draw, but…eww, get real! Hang tight, as the ultimate party animal meets the ultimate fitness freak, Cimil makes an appearance and her merry band of misfit gods is shaken, not stirred in another hilarious romance from Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. Definitely not for delicate eyes, easily offended by body part names, drooling lust and drunken debauchery! I had tears in my eyes laughing at this one, but I have to ask, how did Acan make it for over 10,000 years, unsupervised, untethered and most certainly undressed? I received an ARC edition from Mimi Jean Pamfiloff in exchange for my honest review.

Mimi’s books are like a good screamin O and the GOW certainly delivers, Acan may not always remember to wear pants but he sure knows how to show a girl a good time. This author can make anyone into a very vocal reader. At first you’re like wow, I’m impressed but that plot is way too big for me, how on earth are you gonna fit all that into a single novel, honestly they are not as massive as people think they are (novels you dirty-minded folk ;) ). Then you start getting into it, ohh that’s nice, gimmie more, that was a bit unexpected but I think I like it, then the screaming starts… yes, yes, Yes, NOOO!!!! Oh wait, yes a little more of that, talk dirty too (hehe). Rinse, repeat and after a smokin hot all-nighter (the novel… honestly you people) you leave very satisfied. For most people this is a HEA but if one god or goddess isn’t enough for you Mimi has many more books to read as well more to come. Also if you end up at a party with the God of Wine for Pete’s sake, don’t order a light beer, trust me on this one. I received a REVIEW copy in exchange for an honest review.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed Belch's story the third installment of the Immortal Matchmakers series, which is a spin-off of the Accidental series. Which is totally awesome by the way. This wasn't my favourite addition to the series but it does have the Pamfiloff flair and was very funny and enjoyable. I liked that the female heroine was a 45 year old mother who was also very fit and healthy. Acan aka Belch is a drunk slob who hasn't grown up and everything is a party. until he starts to flip and turn evil. and discovers he has has a new power. A dangerous new power. It seems like these two couldn't be any more different and an ill suited match but they are perfect for each other. One needs to loosen up and enjoy life and party a little more, and the other needs to party a little less, or at least help people party but not partake in too much of the party! there are hijinks galore and Yes there is more Zac and Tula. But I'm not telling! and we also learn a little more about the Goddess of Forgetfulness. and she will get a story too! Yippey! Read this if you want to laugh. You know you want to! received a REVIEW copy in exchange for an honest review

God of Wine is book three in the Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. First, ladies, lets just all take a moment to gaze at the cover of this book. After you wipe the drool off your chins, we can continue. We haven’t really gotten much of a chance as of yet to get to know Acan, the God of Wine and Intoxication, otherwise known as Belch, because, well, he’s always intoxicated. As in, passed out. And he frequently forgets to wear pants. He has a beer belly and the past ten thousand years are a little hazy because he hasn’t been sober for any of it. But now, with the little problem of all the single deities who haven’t found their mate flipping from good to evil, he is forced to sober up so he can find his mate. New Years Eve is coming and his powers will be much stronger. He must find his mate before then. Who knows what might happen if he doesn’t. Margarita Seville has not had an easy life. She escaped an abusive husband and raised her now sixteen year old daughter on her own. She scraped and saved and now owns her own fitness center, Club CrossFit Santa Monica. Raising a teenager by herself is challenging on it’s own but she also works non-stop to make her business succeed. When Acan comes in to her center wanting her to train him, he is rude and impossible. But why does he smell so good? She can’t seem to think straight around him, and all her girly parts are waking up and wanting attention, right now. What the heck is going on? Margarita does not drink, she actually hates alcohol. And Acan’s life is a party. There couldn’t be two more opposite people. But the fates somehow have other plans for these two and have paired them as mates. They have a very bumpy road ahead of them. Is it possible they might find some common ground, that they could balance each other? At the same time, we have the ongoing saga of Zac and Tula. Their situation is actually breaking my heart. Zac wants Tula and can think of nothing else. He actually does care for her so much that he is trying to push her away, since Cimil keeps telling him that he HAS to stay away from her. Tula was finally ready to give in to Zac but he turned her away. Now she doesn’t know what to do. These two are just killing me. This book is so much fun. Acan is over the top crazy and full of himself and hilarious. I actually really liked that Margarita is middle aged with a teen age child. We get some glimpses of Cimil and of course, she is in her usual world of chaos. This book is so much fun and will definitely make you smile. But you might even sigh a couple of times. I know I did. What will Mimi Jean Pamfiloff come up with next? I can’t wait to find out. “You’re already home, Margarita. You are with me.”

Read this book yesterday instead of Black Friday shopping and I am so extremely glad that I did. (with a hangover from thanksgiving night drinking which I thought very appropriate given the god I was reading about.) Hurt to laugh with my two day hangover but was well worth it. Acan, the God of Wine and Intoxication is my kinda God ... Loved him from the first intro in the Accidentally Yours series. He is just always good for a giggle at least and full out laugh at best. This awesome look into his full personality was the best I feel like I really know him now. Margarita is so much fun to read about an Amish raised health junkie with a strong reason to hate drinking Wow. The ups and downs between them and the way they stumble through trying to make things work for the greater good very entertaining and insightful. And ohhh my God Zac (my favorite God) so need to know what happens there. Eagerly awaiting the next Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. tail.

Acan, The God of Wine and poor, unsuspecting Margarita are a match made in heaven, oops I mean by the Universe! What a fantastic read, there are surprises, scary twists and turns and so many laugh out loud moments it would be impossible not to love this installment of the Immortal Matchmakers! This cast of characters is priceless...the good guys turning bad!? Not if Cimil and Zac can help it...mission "mating" underway to thwart the evil "flipping". And what a juicy little tidbit of a cliffhanger...I swear I laughed for 5 minutes! I was lucky enough to be chosen as part of Mimi's ARC team for this book in order to provide an honest review, so here it is.... God of Wine has it all...it's sweet, sexy, full of hilarious banter and some very surprising 'ah oooh' moments...classic Mimi Jean Pamfiloff!

Acan and Margarita have such a fun dynamic. I thought that I would love acan but not this much! I've been liking that there isn't much of a bad guy to worry about but I've been also missing it to. Anyway this book is funny, strangely relatable (as always) and a perfect way to spend your day, if your like me and can't wait to read Mimi's books and can't put them down.
