About the Author

Hannah C. Hall estimates that she has read approximately 4,500 bedtime stories to her children over the last few years. She is thankful to get to add her own books to their daily rotation. Hannah and her husband, Josh, have five children and live in a small town in Arkansas.

Steve Whitlow lives in northern England, on the top of a (very) windswept hill, with his wife and young family. Steve followed his artistic calling from an early age and was first published at age 16, producing vibrant characters for greeting cards and then children's publishing. With no formal art training and only his natural talent, Steve has now been working as a professional artist for more than twenty years. “My kids are my critics,” says Steve. “The best reaction I can hope for is an exclamation of ‘Cool, Dad!’ from either Sam or Ethan—or both.”

It's Christmastime! It's come again! Let's hop and hug and play. I wait all year.... It's finally here! God bless our Christmas day.

We're off to pick the perfect tree. I'll find the biggest one! I love to be with family For chilly Christmas fun.

A winter world is wonderful For frosty fun with friends. We skate and slide and sled and glide Across the snow God sends.

"Now come inside," my mama says. "Your nose looks polar pink! Come gather 'round and snuggle down. There's hot cocoa to drink!"

Add flour here and sugar there And sprinkles piled up high. Who gets to eat these tasty treats? I guess we'll have to try!

Let's decorate and celebrate. Can I help hang the lights? I watch them glow against the snow. They light up winter nights.

The Christmas carols that we sing Are full of joy and love. I have such cheer this time of year. It comes from God above.

I picked this gift for you-know-whooo. I always wrap with care. There's tape and bows from head to toes And ribbon everywhere!

Joy fills the air at Christmastime. I feel so very blessed. It's great to see gifts by the tree, But God's Gift is the best.

The baby Jesus has been born! A star shines big and bright. Through Jesus' birth, God came to earth. God bless our Christmas night!
