I was very disappointed with this book. I picked it up expecting it to be a thriller as this was the impression given by the blurb on the back. Unfortunately, The Ghosts of Now has nothing to do with ghosts. It is, instead, just another troubled family drama - and not even a very well written one at that. I doubt I shall read this again.

Interesting book, a bit too scary and weird for my tastes, but good plot.

How would you feel if out of know where you get a prank phone call saying your brother is dead? Do you know what you would do if it happeneds would you believe it or not? Would you be upset or hurt that you were fighting with your brother and you never even got to say sorry? The two brother and sister are in awful fight because Jermy the borther dont really like to listen. The sister Angie. They kept arguing and Jermy just got up and left. Didn't tell anyong where he was going. The paretns was already at the dinner. Angis is upset and wants to get her head clear. So she started to clean. A couple of minutes later the phone rang she answered it. The phone called said.... This book is reallly sad. I would recommand this to people that like mysteries or who likes to see how a brother and sister act, and how teh sister feels for what she did, or to see if you will believe everything you hear.

Joan Lowery Nixon is an amazing author. Her books are always winners. This one was no exception. It was a fast paced thriller that I read in one night. Read this novel if you love a good mystery with an ending you'll love and a certain addition to your own library.
