Book Review of Goosebumps Ghost Beach By: Juan Larrea It was 2 days until my book review was due. I had no time and I didn’t even touch my book. I looked everywhere for a ridiculously short book. Desperately trying to find such a book lead me to my draws, inside was an old book from my childhood I thought I would never read. The book was just lying there begging to be read one day. It was also covered by a thick layer of dust. Goosebumps Ghost Beach was the title of the book. I knew not to judge a book by its cover but I couldn’t hold it, I said to myself “That’s one corny cover…”. It was a ghost roaming around of what looks like an abandoned beach. Scary right? I didn’t care it was the only book that had no more than 200 pages but a little more than 100. I had no other choice, either read or have the possibility of failing English class. I read every word carefully attempting to at least know the characters names. I read further on and during the process I’ve grown fond of this book. It was actually pretty good! I said to myself “I read a book and liked it…”.I was also surprised how such a small book can be a really cool one, for example “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. I like stories that have bad endings; it gives it more of a creepy feel. The characters in the book were always mischievous and it felt like it would’ve been a real family. The setting really explained a lot, so much that I can imagine myself being there. I don’t really have anything else to say but it was a good experience to read this. I’m also not a fan of horror stories but I still like this one. Ill rate it 9.5/10. Ill recommend this book to people of all ages. It wasn’t inappropriate, disturbing, or anything. This proves that a good book doesn’t need anything else but the story line, characters, and setting. And also plot twists, never forget about the plot twists. Thank you R.L Stine you managed to not to waste my time and (hopefully) get a good grade on my book review!

If you ask me Ghost Beach was one of the many divine books R.L. Stine has written. Like most of his books it has adventure and suspence!! GOOD JOB STINE!

This was good book, but ended with the chills. Terrie and Jerry's (main people in story) cosins were ghosts. It was ended like the cosins wanted to kill Terrie and Jerry! WOW. That gave me the chills. If you like 'Goosebumps' books then defintly dive into 'Ghost Camp' and 'Vampier Breath'. Preety good books! BUY THIS BOOK!

A good effort from R.L. Stine - this time about a "ghost" (hint; or three ghosts) haunting a beach. Very good read although much predictable.

Jerry and Terri are visiting their "aunt and uncle" when they discover mysteries abound on their beach. Three of the local kids hint again and again about a ghost, but won't tell them the story. They finally do, but the siblings discover that the "ghost" has another story- that the kids are ghosts! Jerry and Terri trap the ghost kids, but have they gotten rid of all the ghosts on the beach?
