This is a story about a boy growing up in a simpler era who managed to grow into a much better person despite the many self-inflicted social wounds experienced during his high school exploits including three different high schools. The boy became a man during his Army years, honing those skills in the rice paddies of Vietnam and practicing those leadership skills later on with advanced positions in the Army as well as educational experiences within the Philadelphia School District.
