GARDEN OF FIRE, a Laughing Moon Chronicles novella, takes a man into a harsh and dangerous land on his quest for forbidden magic. Khraxis, a young and ambitious Rogue Magician, discovers a link to the ancient world where unbridled power may have been stolen from the gods themselves. Obsessed with unlocking the secrets to this relic, Khraxis embarks on a journey to the unforgiving desert and a place called the Garden of Fire.

About the Author

Todd VanHooser was born and raised in Missouri, and has been telling stories in one form or another his entire life. His Bachelor of Arts was earned at the University of Missouri where he majored in English with an emphasis on creative writing. He is a literature and creative writing teacher and the author of several short stories.
