Genre? Unclassifiable. Value musically? Priceless! Everyone I've shared this recording with has to hear it twice through--just like me--with no prompting. I can hardly believe Sarah is only nineteen! I'll be watching for this young lady at MerleFest, THE venue for up and coming young musicians. No one sings the way this girl does...writes her own music and soulful lyrics with an emotional depth of someone who's been down many roads in life. Speaking of which, I play Emmylou's newest music every week. Now I have another cd that will be in my 5 disc player just as often. I hope Sarah is recording a long, long time!
