Burned

Scorched
Trent should have known better. He does know better. But, somehow, still mourning the death of his partner and lover, the former Navy SEAL fell, and fell hard, for a married woman. Ablaze
Olivia was trapped in a loveless marriage to an icy control freak for more years than she cares to remember. She swore that once she was free, she'd never settle for anything less than fierce, true love. She thought she'd found it with Trent; obviously, she was wrong.

When Trent closes his eyes at night, all he sees is Olivia's huge blue eyes, full of fire. In his sleep, his hands trace her curves in the air. But every morning he wakes up alone in a cold bed. He doesn't deserve her, he knows that much. And he's determined to leave her in peace.

Easier said than done.

When they're both called as witnesses in a federal prosecution, they're marked for execution. Forced to stay together in a safe house, they do their best to avoid one another. But when the government safe house goes up in flames, they end up right back where they started: on the run with no one to trust but each other.
