They are the Scouts and Scouters others would like to be camping with because of their willingness to help others and live the Scout life. This book tells of one boy's entrance into that honor society and follows him as he becomes an adult.

About the Author
Richard Rudolph is a long-time Scout leader. He became an Ordeal member of the Order of the Arrow in 1959, sealed his membership with the Brotherhood in 1960. After many years of being away from Scouting, he reconnected in 1983 and rejoined the Order of the Arrow in 1984. During that time, he held many volunteer positions in Scouting, including the associate lodge advisor for ceremonies in one OA Lodge. In 1999, he was given the Vigil Honor.
