Well written, good plot, readers left with a cliff hanger. I've read a number of Ms Dylan's books, but this is the first I've read from the Windy Ridge series. I'm not very familiar with New Age philosophy. I did not know there was a deep connection between it and the occult. I must admit that reading this book was uncomfortable at times. The real power of evil is not often a subject of the fiction books I read. That said, I did like this book. I did expect the person who framed the pastor to be someone other than the obvious suspects. Another surprise was the ending. I've read many series books, and I think this is the first that has left the ending unresolved with respect to a major character. That's a strong incentive to read the next book in the series. Will I go back and read the first book? The jury is still out on that, as much as I like Ms Dylan's books.

"You should realize that there is such a thing as spiritual warfare, and Windy Ridge happens to be a battleground right now." Rachel Dylan continues her Windy Ridge series on spiritual warfare here and the battle ramps up between the forces of good and evil. I totally believe in spiritual warfare and I believe she portrays it quite accurately. Olivia Murray, an attorney, in back in Windy Ridge and loves her new community. But then the pastor of her church is arrested for embezzlement and goes to jail. Olivia defends him pro bono and soon realizes that he is being set up and their church has been targeted by demonic forces. She is not alone, however, because her friend and soon to become more than friend, Grant Baxter, is on her side. Together, with a handful of believers, they begin to fight the biggest battle of their lives. I was absolutely captivated from the very beginning. Highly recommended. I can't wait for the third in the series. *My thanks to the author for a copy of this book. A review was not required and the opinions stated here are my own.

We are welcomed back to Windy Ridge, where Olivia has been sent to open up a new branch of the BCR law firm and is immediately told that Pastor Dan has been charged with embezzling. She takes the case, pro bono, and sets out to find out the truth of the matter. Grant is back as well as some other familiar faces from the first book and a new one as well. This story starts fast and doesn’t let up til the conclusion. This is book 2 in the series and though it could be read as a stand alone, the 1st book will fill in so much of the back story that you will want to read it first. Anxiously awaiting the soon release of book 3 to see what else Windy Ridge is up against. Great storyline with likeable (and no so likeable) characters is this hard to put down book.

Not many authors take on spiritual warfare. This author laid it all out with prayer, scripture and characters about a spiritual battle for our souls.

This is the second book in the Windy Ridge Legal Thriller series, and although it can be read as a standalone, I definitely recommend reading the first book in the series for additional background on the characters and because it is well worth reading. This book picks up with the characters and their lives right after the close of the first book. This author definitely knows how to write a suspense filled story centered around the reality of the spiritual warfare that Pastor Dan and the Wendy Ridge Church found themselves caught up in, and it was a book that I couldn't put down after I started it. I was given an advance copy of this book, but a favorable review was not required. The opinions are expressed are my own, and it is another one from this author that I definitely recommend.

FATAL ACCUSATION by Rachel Dylon is the 2nd book in the Windy Ridge series. This picks up from the Trial and Tribulation book 1. Attorney Olivia has had a hard trial and was on vacation. Comes back and now is doing pro bono for the charges against pastor Dan. Charges from New Age groups have been filed against him, for embezzlement This has rocked the people and church, and for Olivia a community she loves. With her friends and fellow attorney Grant by her side, will she win. A great thriller of spiritual warfare, keeps the intrigue to the end. Looking forward to the next in series. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Another great legal suspense by Rachel Dylan. Fatal Accusation drew me in with the spiritual warfare element to the story. Satan is seeking whom he may devour. Pastor Dan Light is under attack for his beliefs by two New Age companies. But can attorney Olivia Murray withstand the trial and the attacks? Will the church, and the pastor's reputation, survive? Rachel Dylan weaves a believable suspense as you try to figure out if Pastor Dan embezzled funds or if he was framed, and if so, by whom. I look forward to reading more stories by this author. If you like Christian legal suspense, you'll love this author's work. I received a free copy in the hope that I would mention/review it on my blog. I was not required to give a positive review, only my honest opinion - which I've done. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own and I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
