I loved, loved, loved this book. I'm a big fan of Ms Beck's whose books I devour in a single sitting.  I fell in love with both characters. Chloe and Michael steamed up my Kindle from page one. This book has it all. Laughter, incredibly sexy times, awesome secondary characters.  Grab this book and settle in. This book had me at page one and didn't let me go.

Have you ever read a book that was like: WOW, now that was worth it! Or a story that was hot and steamy, but at the same time gave you that warm fuzzy feeling too. Well, Samanthe Beck's Falling for the Marine I felt that way. Seriously, loved this story. I wasn't sure if I was going to absolutely love the story, but I knew that I that I enjoyed the books. However, Samanthe somehow manage to wow me. Basically, the story is about Michael McCade who is a helicopter pilot in the Marines and he's having back issues, so he has go see a massage therapist. Being a tough guy he really doesn't want to. Before he even gets to meet the masseuse he meets his neighbor Chloe Kincaid in a precarious situation. This adds to the hilarity when he sees Chloe again at massage therapy and they are caught in a compromising situation (those are always the best). Anyway, Chloe gets fired and needs to find a place to stay till her next assignment. Michael being a standup guy offers her a room to stay till then. However, Michael's commanding officer is a stickler for appearances, so they have a fake engagement.  Don't you love awkward and compromising situations and to top it all off with a fake engagement. This is like having the most decadent dessert you can think of. With all that going for the story, I had a problem with Chloe. Yes, Chloe is my issue. Don't get me wrong she was a really fun character to read, but she had some issues that she used as a crutch when it came to her life. I know sometimes it is easier to use the things that get us down as a crutch than really living life. I'm just so glad she came to her senses before I had to throw something. I absolutely loved Michael. He's awesome. He is the stuff that makes a hero a hero. Not because he's a marine, but he's thoughtful, caring, and let's not forget sexy. I could probably gush about him.  Let's be honest, I absolutely loved Falling for the Marine, because it was a fun, hot, steamy read. Plus, it left me feeling satisfy in the end. I can't wait to see what will happen to the next brother. So, if you are looking for a read that will leave you on a book high, you might want to read Falling for the Marine.  You don't have to read the first book in order to read this one. It can be read as a stand alone.  Copy provided by the publisher

## WOW. Ms. Beck is simply brilliant. Oh how I loved this book. After reading "Private Practice" and "Lover Undercover" and loving those immensely, I couldn't wait to get my hands on her next book. Holy hell, it was exquisite. Once again, I adored both hero and heroine. Kudos to the author for not portraying Michael as a man-slut the way most are portrayed these days. He was....for lack of a better word....yummy. The chemistry between him and Chloe was sizzling. As were the sex scenes. And the dirty talk was intoxicating! You must read this book. It's a fun and sexy read all the way around. NOTE TO MS. BECK: As long as you're writing, I'm buying!

This was a great book. Michael McCade rescued Chloe Kincaid when he heard her cry for help, and found her handcuffed to her bed. From that point on the sparks were going to fly in a good way. Michael is a Marine chopper pilot that had injured his back. It turned out that Chloe was his massage therapist. When the pair are caught in a compromising situation and causes Chloe to loose her job, Michael once again rescues her. He lets her live in his apartment til she is back on her feet. The problem is the Military frowns on couples living together. The pair the pretend to be engaged to each other. When Chloe feels overwhelmed with her true feelings for Michael she runs. Will Michael follow her or will it be the end? You must read the book to find out. I know I will be reading more books by Ms. Beck.

Great, funny start. I loved.Michael "Major Hottie" McKade. He was fabstastic but Chloe... She was just annoying. Basically 170 pgs of Chloe whining about her life. To the point of the character becoming unlikeable. The I'm a freebird got old quick.

After reading the first scene in the book, I knew I would be enjoying this fun read. And I did. For me, this was a fast, sexy read with a hero and heroine I wanted to be together. You start out with a whole lot of sexual tension then delivers some rather steamy intimate scenes between Michael and Chloe. While their courtship is rather fast, it essentially worked for me. Michael leads an ordered life as a Marine, recovering from an injury that will soon have him back in the pilot's seat where he wants to be. He definitely doesn't need a "fly for cover", no-attachments woman in his life, but hey, you know how it goes. What the heart wants and all that. Chloe likes her job and life just the way it is. She tried settling and leading a normal life and was burned. So, she keeps on the move and travels with her job, not wanting to fall into the same circumstances she did earlier in her life. Of course, meeting Michael made her reconsider her plans. And I'll just say, I love a man that will go after his woman and isn't afraid to show her how much he wants her. The ending of Falling for the Marine was perfect. I really enjoyed Samanthe Beck's voice and humor, and now I'll be waiting to read the next book she releases. If you enjoy fun, sexy reads, give this one a shot. I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I did.

An Incredible Story...Loved it! I was lucky enough to get this book as an ARC, the second one I have received...In fact I was asked to be a BETA reader for this book. What can I say....Samanthe Beck has done it again! This is the second McCade brothers story and it have me from beginning to end. Loved the chemistry between Michael and Chloe Kincaid. The story begins with Chloe placing herself in a precarious situation... When she calls out in cries of help, it is Michael who comes to her rescue. But as enticing Chloe is to the Major, he is in physical pain and gracefully walks away. Yet the seed of want and desire has been planted by both. Chloe is shocked to see Michael sprawled out on her massage table the following afternoon.. The heat and flames erupt placing both of them in a very compromising position. One that causes Chloe her job. Distraught, Chloe goes and 'drinks' her cares away at the local bar...In charges Michael, yet saving his damsel yet again (strike 2). After waking next to Michael, she is at a lost...she has no job, no car and no apartment now. Michael feels terrible and helps her the only way he can think of, he offers his extra bedroom to Chloe. At first Chloe doesn’t want to accept but without her job and no other choices available, she excepts. Michael could lose his post too because of the situation they were found in at the clinic. Michael tells Chloe if they pretend to be engaged, she can save him from being brought up on charges and possible discharge. It would also save them both from any embarrassment of their actions. What I thoroughly enjoyed was the undeniable and instant attraction between Chloe and Michael. It was playful, fun, loving and was intense and delicious. Chloe had a few admirable qualities about her. She had great optimism despite being unlucky in love before, has a free and carefree spirit, yet knows she must put her heart on the line. Michael is the ultimate loyal, responsible, big hearted alpha solider male with looks to kill. But he does show us his vulnerability, which shows with his injury and caring nature. This just made me love him even more. He figures Chloe out almost instantly and calls her out when she tries to pull away and shut down. Their personalities and the chemistry work incredibly well together. It was such a wonderful to be able to see their relationship grow into something very real, something that could plausibly happen to anyone. I laughed, cried, even puzzlement but everything was pulled into a surprising and enjoyable ending, actual perfection for a couple who started off as an odd pairing... Samanthe brings the viewer into the story from beginning and hold you there on the edge of your seat. I can't turn the pages fast enough to find out..'And then...' I truly loved this book as her others “Lover Undercover” and “Private Practice”, both well worth the read also. I look forward to more story of love and desire and everything that goes along with it from Samanthe Beck, a worthy new author to keep your eye on. Believe me, you will not be disappointed!!!

I absolutely loved “Falling for the Marine”. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t put the book down because I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen between Michael and Chloe next. I actually read it in one night. I fell in love with USMC Major Michael McCade right at the start, and throughout the book, I even pretended I was Chloe. I mean, who wouldn’t want a HOT marine falling for them? I loved the banter between the two characters. The way Miss Beck introduced them from the first scene, I knew this was going to be a steamy and sexy novel! I can’t wait for her next book!

Chloe and Michael are on my top ten favorite couples list. No major hang-ups or childhood traumas (sorry but some of the twisted things out there that people live thru and write about make Chloe's background sad but wonderfully normal), just lust and humor at the very first meet-cute, followed by more humor and lust, then love. You are going to be an auto buy from now on.

For sexy, fun romance, Samanthe Beck delivers every time. I loved Chloe's story. After what she'd been through, I really felt like she deserved to find love and Michael was a perfect match. Lots of hot fun in the second of the McCade Brothers books - and the ending is wonderfully romantic and suits this couple to a T. For me, Samanthe Beck is an autobuy!

4.5 - 5 Stars! Chloe and Michael fall hard for each other in Falling for the Marine. If you love fun, sexy reads with little angst that includes a dreamy military man, then step right up, because this story is delicious! Even before the massage table comes into play (waggles eyebrows), Chloe and Michael meet at a very awkward moment. Really, I just had to giggle at this particular scene at the beginning, and it sure does set the tone for the rest of the story. Desire and sparks fly really quick for these two. When a certain line gets crossed, they must deal with their situation the best way they know how. Michael (aka Major Hottie and middle McCade brother) is used to order and control. He's ready to settle down. Although impulsive and commitment-phobic, Chloe is also goal-oriented and free-spirited. I loved this about her. This is definitely an opposites attract story where the two main characters are highly insatiable for each other. Samanthe Beck sure knows how to deliver in that area...get ready to fan yourself! Falling for the Marine is filled with both laugh-out-loud and tender moments. Pretty much all the characters have vibrant personalities. Can this be read as a standalone? Yes!!! Although I've read Lover Undercover (oldest McCade brother's story) and Wicked Games (from the Lovers Unmasked anthology) previously, I found very little overlap. Did you know there are three McCade brothers?! I'm ready and waiting for the next one! * A complimentary copy was provided in exchange for an honest review. *

***Review posted on The Eater of Books! blog*** Falling for the Marine by Samanthe Beck Book Two of the McCade Brothers series Publisher: Entangled Brazen Publication Date: October 28, 2013 Rating: 4 stars Source: Purchased copy from Amazon Summary (from Goodreads): Pretending to be in love has never felt so sexy. USMC helicopter pilot Michael McCade has two goals: Get his damn back into alignment and keep his nose clean until his commanding officer clears him to fly again. The doctor-recommended massage therapy seems like a necessary step toward returning to the cockpit, but when his too-hot-to-handle neighbor, Chloe Kincaid, turns out to be his masseuse, he strays from the straight and narrow in a major way. Chloe Kincaid is looking for a simple, no strings attached, ego-boosting hook up. But when her positively panty-melting neighbor, USMC Major Michael McCade, (aka Major Hottie), shows up on her massage table, she lets desire get the better of professionalism. Now theyre pretending to be engaged to avoid a whole lot of unanticipated consequences of a momentary lapse in judgment. But can a girl who avoids attachments at all costs fake an engagement to a straight-arrow soldier without falling hard? What I Liked: I read this book three years ago and really enjoyed it. I love the fake engagement trope, and I love a man in uniform, and I adore Samanthe Beck's books, so this romance novel was bound to be a winner. Recently I recommended it to a friend, and in doing so, I realized that I never reviewed the book and hadn't thought about it in a while. So I took the opportunity to reread it, and liked it even more, the second time around. Major Michael McCade is in for the surprise of his life, when he hears a cry for help (literally, "Help!") coming from his neighbor's apartment. What a way to meet his neighbor, to come to rescue her from an embarrassing situation. Chloe Kincaid is everything that appeals to him - and the next day, he finds out that she's going to be his masseuse, for his back injury. In a twist of events, Michael and Chloe must pretend to be engaged so Michael doesn't get in trouble with the Marines, for fooling around in public. But what happens when they both want the engagement to be real, but only Michael is all in? There are so many great tropes in this book that Samanthe Beck executes really well. The fake engagement trope is one of my favorites; and in this case, towards the end, it is Michael that is committed, and it is Chloe that is the commitment phobe. This book also deals with two neighbors, if you're into that trope. At a certain point, Chloe moves into Michael's apartment, but it started out as a neighbors thing. You could also say that this is an opposites attract romance, with Michael being a straight-laced, tough, control freak Marine, and Chloe being a free-spirited go-with-the-flow type. Michael is easily one of my favorite romance heroes. I love that he is a Marine and he is the epitome of a true Marine. He is so serious about being in the military, and he loves his job as a pilot. He is in his cammies in several scenes, which was gratifying (nudge nudge wink wink). Read the rest of my review on my blog, The Eater of Books! - eaterofbooks DOT blogspot DOT com :)
