About the Author

Scot Buren is an author, and screenwriter.

He was born in 1977 in Naples, Florida. His father is a US Navy veteran, and his mother is from the country-Malta. Scot had a unique upbringing with his diverse, international family background, and living in a different town every couple of years, while growing up. All his older brothers, father, and uncles, have all had extensive years of service in the military.

Scot Buren has years of experience in boxing, martial arts, and tactical firearms training. He also followed a personal interest to learn a foreign language by studying Portuguese, and Russian.

As a young adult, Scot decided he needed to travel abroad alone. After his first trip to Europe, he wasn't satisfied, and he traveled to see more of the world, even living, and studying abroad. His time away, was in itself, a life enriching adventure.

Scot went on to study creative writing, before eventually meeting his wife, who he ran a business with in south Florida.
