Bill is a young manager working in Japan on a fast track up the corporate ladder. Doubts emerge when he discovers a rampant case of industrial espionage involving a chain of players on both sides of the Pacific, including the Japanese mafia. Who will survive the long and ruthless arm of the mafia, amidst the chaos of fledgling relationships, personal vendettas, fraud and exploitation?

"The book is a quick, highly engaging read; even the frequent bursts of financial projections and retail strategy keep the story moving. ...A solid thriller that's just right for those looking for some corner-office downtime reading." - Kirkus book review

About the Author

John lived in Japan for nineteen years, twelve of which were spent developing and managing subsidiaries of Fortune 500 Companies. His interest in international business was spawned by his father’s Foreign Service career during the 1950s and 60s, resulting in John graduating from a Japanese grade school in 1964. John was named ‘Man of the Year’ in 1983 for UNICEF Japan affiliate BEE. In 1993 and 1994 John was included in “Who’s Who” in Canada, and in 1996-98 “Who’s Who” in Italy. John now resides in New Hampshire where he and his wife, Debbie, raise Icelandic horses and own and operate the local fitness center. He continues to argue with international clients when he’s not writing.
