Grayson Coleman has just moved home to Butler, Vermont after spending years working for a high-powered law firm in Boston. He’s looking for a simpler, less stressful existence in the sleepy little mountain town where he grew up with his siblings and Abbott cousins. Once the holidays are over, he plans to hang out a shingle and open a new general law practice. After helping to raise his seven younger siblings, the last thing on Grayson’s mind is a family of his own.

Emma Mulvaney is enjoying a break from her reality as a busy single mother in New York City while she and her adorable daughter, Simone, spend the holidays in Vermont with Emma's sister, Lucy, and Lucy’s future in-laws, the Abbotts. After meeting Abbott cousin Grayson Coleman and talking to him for hours, Emma is nervous and excited to have dinner alone with him after sharing her deepest, most personal secrets with him.

Will that first night be the start of something new for the jaded lawyer and the selfless single mom or will a holiday week flirtation turn into something much bigger than either of them ever expected?

Come back to Butler, Vermont for more of the charming Abbott family, their matchmaking father and grandfather and of course, Fred the Moose.

4.5 Stars a perfect addition to a great series Book one in The Butler, Vermont Series but it is a continuation of The Green Mountain Series, it picks up right where we left at the end of Ain't She Sweet. Grayson is the oldest cousin to the Abbott clan and he is a successful lawyer but working in the big city has taken its toll and he has come home to Butler to set up his own practice. Emma and her daughter are visiting her sister Lucy who is engaged to Colton Abbott. Two people who don't have time for romance but as always something magical is in the air and the impossible becomes possible. A perfect addition to one of my favourite series.

Marie Force never ceases to amaze me. From the first page until the last, when you can't believe you have finished the book because you want it to keep going. Grayson and Emma's story was a touching tale of how your growing up days affect your choices as an adult. That and the addition of a little girl that can make life so much more "interesting". The Valentine Surprise that Grayson gave to Emma was awesome, along with the help that Simone gave him to make it even better. Now I can't wait for the next Saga...Thank you Marie!

Sweet story with steam. This is my first read in this series so I missed much of the side line stories. Look forward to the next. Good read.

Marie Force is an amazing writer. Every Little Thing was another wonderful visit back to Butler, Vermont. The story of Grayson, Emma, and Simone was heartfelt and sweet. Grayson and Emma are perfect together, and Simone is so smart, adorable, and funny.

I'm usually a read-in-order series reader, so after only reading book one in Force's Green Mountain series...of which this is a spin off...I wasn't sure what to expect. At no time, even with character from the previous books popping up, did I feel like I was missing something. In fact, even though Every Little Thing is Grayson and Emma's story, we catch up on the lives of other Abbott couples in secondary stories. I actually enjoyed that a little more than the main story. I felt that Emma and Grayson had a very rushed relationship. I won't go into particulars to avoid spoilers. And while a case can be made for love at first sight, that doesn't to me equate to a rushed relationship. While. Liked them both and little Simone was an adorable spitfire, I just wonder about the hurry. Great writing as always from Marie Force, it just wasn't my favorite. I won an ARC of book. All opinions are my own.

EVERY LITTLE THING is the first book in the Butler, Vermont series, but it’s just a continuation of the Green Mountain series. It picks up exactly where we left off at the end of AIN’T SHE SWEET, Charley and Tyler’s story. Which is amazing by the way! Beautiful, heartwarming reads that can easily be read as a standalones or as part of the series! The book starts out with a prologue, taken from the end of AIN’T SHE SWEET so readers can transition between books/series with ease. Grayson is our hero and he is the oldest cousin to the Abbott siblings. He’s a successful lawyer who’s burned out from working in the big city and has come back home to Butler to set up his own practice. While home, he meets Emma Mulvaney—sister to Lucy who’s engaged to Grayson’s cousin Colton Abbott—and Emma’s daughter Simone. Grayson is immediately enchanted by Simone and her very lovely mother. He’s not looking for a relationship, but can’t seem to stop thinking about or being around Emma. Don’t worry, Grayson is not a weird creeper. He grew up helping raise his siblings and likes kids. Just wanted to point that out Emma has a lot on her plate: full-time job, full-time daughter, zero time for romance. She and Simone are spending time in Butler, having been invited to the wedding of the eldest Abbott sibling, Hunter (yeah, there are a lot of ‘em!). And getting much-needed sister time with Lucy. She wasn’t expecting to fall hard and fast for Grayson Coleman. EVERY LITTLE THING is a genuine contemporary romance. It’s a story where the impossible can become possible with dedication, work, sacrifice and love. It’ll leave you feeling all warm and mushy inside, and possibly reaching for the tissues! On a personal note: Every time I read one of these books, it’s like I’m coming home again. The characters and the entire fictional town of Butler, Vermont are family and I love catching up with them and I kinda feel like I’m involved in their lives when I read one of their books. It may sound a little silly I know, but when I’m down and I can’t seem to muster up a smile, I know I can escape for a few hours into Butler and find my happy place again. ***I voluntarily reviewed a copy of the book provided by the publisher. Every Little thing is the title of Book #1 in author Marie Force's new series Butler, Vermont. This is actually a continuation of her Green Mountain series so all the characters from that series who readers have come to love appear in this story. Plus we get to find out lots more about the Coleman cousins as well as the Abbotts. In this book Marie delights her readers with the romance of Grayson Coleman, eldest of the Coleman siblings who has decided to leave his lucrative law practice in Boston to return home to Butler, Vermont and New Yorker and single mother Emma Mulvaney whose sister Lucy is married to Colton Abbott. Grayson and Emma meet in the previous book, Ain't She Sweet, at the wedding of Hunter Abbott and Megan Kane when Emma's sweet nine-year-old daughter, Simone starts a conversation with Grayson about drinking scotch. Emma walks over and sparks fly. So the romance begins. Marie Force has combined all the elements of a well-written novel in this story. The storyline flows well. The characters are well-developed, realistic and likable. Their interactions are fun and delightful to read about. The dialogue is one of the best elements of the story. The banter back and forth between siblings and cousins is animated and funny. Plus the conversations between Grayson and Simone are precious. All this adds up to an excellent story. You won't want to miss out on this one.
