Overview

The scope and the theme of the book is to analyze the modern political trends and strategies that are leading to major changes in Western civilization, America included, since the OIC strategy targets America also. Learning from the European experience is crucial for Americans. Moreover this evolution is inscribed in the historical movement of Islamic theology and expansionism. It is not fortuitous but it has its own theological and political structure that must be known in the West if we wish to live in a peaceful world.

About the Author

Bat Ye'or was born in Cairo. Her first major study (Le Dhimmi, 1980) was translated into English (1985), Hebrew (1986), and Russian (1986). It is an essential introduction to The Decline of Eastern Christianity under Islam. From Jihad to Dhimmitude (1996), whose publication in French (1991) established the author's reputation as a pioneer researcher on 'dhimmitude.' Islam and Dhimmitude: Where Civilizations Collide (2001) opened-up new ground , and her latest analysis of the transformation of Europe into 'Eurabia' was hailed as prophetic. Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis (2005) has been printed nine times and has been published in French, Italian, Dutch, and Hebrew.
