This book was full of information. It talked about Elvis's start, to when half way through one of his movies, he was drafted into the Army, to his death. He was the major heart throb when he was around. He was a dancer, a star, and a trend setter. He had his signature dance move; once he did his move, girls would go crazy for him. This book tells you the life of this star. His greatest achievements and his greatest hits. This book is emotional and informational. It really opens your eyes to his life and how he felt about everything and anything. It talks about his mother, father, close friends, and relationships. This book is very motivating and inspirational. If you're the type of person that looks up to Elvis, this book gives you more back ground on him and tells you his start and his finish.

Elvis Presley by Marie Clayton has wonderful photos of Elvis. I selected this book because it has many large, interesting photos of Elvis. Most of the photos are black and white, but some are color. It had photos which spanned the adult life of Elvis, and a couple from his younger days. There were photos from Elvis' personal life, his movies and his performances. There is also an interesting chronology of Elvis' life in the back of the book. This was helpful and interesting. I recommend this book to anyone who loves Elvis or would like to learn more about him. We used this book at a recent Elvis party as a conversation piece on the coffee table.

This was a birthday present to one of Elvis' dedicated fans. Began the gift search for a different publication on Elvis. Unable to locate the book, I actually stumbled on this one. Read the detailed information given and decided this would be a wonderful life history reading that my mother in law would truly enjoy reading. She loves the book...The order was easy, shipping was fast! I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about Elvis. Will also use the Barnes' and Noble website to order from again. *****

I received this book as a gift and I was floored by all the great pictures in it. Its loaded with fun fact as well. It chronicles Elvis's life through pictures and in my eyes this book is a must have. Don't be fooled by the price! This book is a steal!

It's a pretty big book and every single page is a picture, offcourse it has text in it too. Overall, dont let this price fool you, dont think its just some cheap edition!, its actually a very impressive book for such low price. GOOD quality. This book is worth MUCH more. Go ahead & buy it if you ask me!
