This book doesn't just pay attention to calories and fat (normal diet tactics) but carbs and sodium as well! As someone on a very restricted low sodium diet, I hoped to be able to use only some of the recipes, while expecting to have to modify them to meet my needs. Imagine my surprise, when I realized I can use them all, without changing a thing! Best of all, my husband and son eat them all, without comments about "diet food" or "where's the salt shaker?"

Got this and found the recipes to be easy to follow with simple ingredients. Everything I have tried tasted fabulous and being healthier for me and my family is a bonus. Highly recomend.

I'm a weight watcher's life time member having lost and keeping off 71 lbs. This is how I love to cook! I loved this book so much I decided to order all 3 of her books hard copy to keep in my kitchen. These books are go to keepers. Even though the first book is not with the points plus since she gives the necessary nutrition information it is easy to figure out with the weight watchers calculator. Highly recommend her books. Hats off and thank you so much Marilene Koch for all your work.

I'm always a little skeptical when trying new recipes but with this book I can't wait to try the next one! I finally have eaten vegetables for the first time in 40 years, and actually really like them. The recipes have so much flavor, without the tons of sugar and fat that I ate so much of before. Even hubby is excited to see what I'm going to make next. We are both amazed at how filling a normal portion size of healthy food has become. I really like that all of the nutrient facts are broken down. . Calories, fat, carbs , protien. Diabetic conversions are great for my daughter's boyfriend and friends when cooking for others. I just wish there were more pictures - I'm definitely a visual person. Makes meal planning easy while controlling my intake of what type of foods I'm eating. I've managed to lose 10lbs in one month by exercising and using only recipes/meals from this book that fit my caloric/nutrient goals.Everybody is getting this for a gift this year!

This was the best light cookbook I have ever bought! It has regular food but its still light! I loved the lazy day lasagna! I loved it so much I even brought some into work! They couldn't believe it was light!

So far I have made Stephen's Beef Stew once and the Chicken Enchilada Bake and The Shawdow's Hearty Lentil Soup both two times each. They are all wonderful! I have Marlene's first book but I like this one much better. Can't wait to try some more recipes.

LOVE IT I love this cook book. It really has all the work done for you all you have to do is cook. My family really loved the creamy scrambled eggs in potato skin. YUMMY. If your counting points or just eating healthy this is a cook book you must have.

FANTASTIC COOKBOOK!!!!! Just started using this cookbook.. My mom made the LAZY DAY LASAGNA for dinner tonight.. One of the best meals I had. It was fantastic. This book would make a great gift for that person in your life who loves to cook.
