This is a great movie, especially if you are one of those people who occasionally like to bring your personal life into the semi-intellectual debate. The characters are very relateable and all the actors play their roles convincingly. Logue's character of Dex is likeable despite his flaws, and will most likely remind you of someone you knew in high school or college-only ten years or so later.... I look forward to seeing this screenwriter/director's work again in the future.

This is a very witty comedy wherein two former philosophy majors spar with one another as Dex practices distilling all the philosophy from human history down to a successful means of ''getting laid''. In this case, however, she's read the same books he has. This is my FAVOURITE movie of all time - great script and great direction. I laughed so hard that I cried several times!
