Rumored to be the inspiration behind television's Charlie's Angels, this disc is a welcomed bit of cinematic trash from Image Entertainment and their Cult Cinema Collection. The print is presented widescreen (anamorphic) with an aspect ratio of 1.77:1 and has never looked so good. The soundtrack is in Dolby Digital 2.0 (mono). The disc also features an audio commentary from director Ted V. Mikels. The track has numerous pauses and would only be of slight interest to someone who isn't a fan of the director's work. In the "Top Secret" section are several interesting features. There's an eight-minute "Doll Squad Memories" feature from one of the film's stars, Tura Satana (Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, The Astro-Zombies). Unfortunately, it is just her pleasant commentary over scenes from the movie so viewers are robbed of the chance to see what the intriguing star looks like today. There is a theatrical trailer for the film as well as a filmography for the director. The final feature is a slew of trailers from Mikels' T.V. film canon: The Worm Eaters, Girl in Gold Boots, Ten Violent Women, Blood Orgy of the She-Devils, and The Corpse Grinders. A nicely put together package in honor of one of the true kings of Grade-Z cinema.
