A globetrotting archeologist discovers danger and intrigue while searching for an elusive treasure his father died trying to find. Upon receiving word that his father, Professor Fredrick Shaffer (Sean Lawlor), has been killed in Syria, fearless explorer Jack Hunter (Ivan Sergei) journeys halfway around the globe to decipher the clues that could reveal the treasure's location. His destination: the mysterious Syrian town of Ugarit. According to Professor Shaffer, the people of Ugarit buried a massive fortune before the Pharoah slaughtered them wholesale. By the time the killing ceased, the treasure had been forgotten. Growing up, Jack never believed his father's fantastic stories - but now things are different. Before he was killed, Professor Shaffer claimed to have come upon a clue that would prove the treasure is out there. Now, in order to find it, Jack enlists the aid of Syrian Ministry of Archeology Nadia Ramadan (Joanne Kelly), who openly questions not only his integrity, but his intentions with the riches as well. Along with Nadia's colleague Tariq (Mario Bassill), Jack learns that the malevolent Albert Littman (Thure Riefenstein) is determined to locate The Lost Treasure of Ugarit first, and plans to split his take with the Russian Mafia. As the race to solve the ancient mystery heats up, the competition quickly turns deadly.
