This movie was one of the most intriguing I've seen. The cinematography was breathtaking....highly erotic, yet not nearly as graphic as more recent films. Would probably warrent an 'R' rating by todays standards. Highly interesting as well as entertaining! Wonderful character development, and interesting twists and turns throughout. Masterful cinematography led to an unbelievable review of that era's fashions and interior design. Beautifully filmed which led to development of the amazing ambiance! If you're looking for a journey through Victorian-era erotica, you'll LOVE this movie!
