After the kingdom of Arendelle is cast into eternal winter by the powerful Snow Queen Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), her sprightly sister Anna (Kristen Bell) teams up with a rough-hewn mountaineer named Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and his trusty reindeer Sven to break the icy spell. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee co-directed this Walt Disney Animation Studios production based on Hans Christian Andersen's beloved fairy tale The Snow Queen.

Olav sings a song about summer.  Ohhhhh,  we can sit by the fireplace and cuddle.  When I'm outside for a while, I'll be a...HAPPY SNOWMAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!

Great movie. A plot that adults can relate to, while the kids can understand and learn from it.

The animation was spectacular. The landscape alone was beautiful. The characters were so individual - in face, form, and personality. The animation made the characters eyes so expressive and alive. For children it's a magical adventure, with fun lovable characters. The song "Let it Go" is an instant classic. For adults it's full of deeper meaning. Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Hans embody many of today's social and political agendas, they also embody elements of timeless classics. Even Olaf and Sven have deeper meaning, if one is willing to look. The events throughout the movie contain complex issues, which can be interpreted in so many different ways. I'm still finding new reflections when I re-watch it.

All my children think this movie is great!  Music gets played as much as the movie. The 2yr old dances with the  Characters & laughs at the snowman. Great fun for the whole family & as always with Disney "lessons to be learned"

Excellent movie. One of my favorite disney movies of all time. The animation is amazing and the characters are really fun. THe plot of the movie isn't all that great but the music completely makes ip for it.

I have to admit that this film was definitely hyped. None of the current generation Disney movies can compare to the old school ones such as Lion King, Little Mermaid and Aladdin. But out of all the current generation Disney movies, this one is the best. The relationships between characters could have used a little more time to unfold and progress, but the soundtrack and ending were amazing.

Worst movie ever! Why did this movie win the award for best animated movie? It should win a golden raspberry award for worst film! The Lego movie is way better.
