Friends - The Series Finale

Friends - The Series Finale

Director: James Burrows, Kevin S. Bright Cast: Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox

DVD

Overview

Friends was given one of the highest-profile send-offs in television history when it left the air in May of 2004. Five days after the final episode aired, it was released on DVD. The disc contains both the original broadcast version of the episode and a special extended edition available only on the DVD. In order to compare how much the show has changed, the original pilot episode is included on the DVD. All of the episodes are presented in the original broadcast aspect ratio of 1.33:1. Also, the opening-credit montages from each of the show's ten seasons have been included, along with the music video for the show's theme song, "I'll Be There for You," by the Rembrandts. This is a fine release for fans of the show.

Friends is a very funny show and I know some people who were disappointed with the series finale but personally I liked it and thought it was much better than the disappointing series finale to Will & Grace. Okay, So maybe the series finale to Friends was predictable but as a fan of the Ross and Rachel relationship and also of the Monica and Chandler relationship I was very satisfied. By the way I'm so glad that they didn't put Joey and Phoebe together. I know that some fans of Friends wanted to see them become a couple because of Phoebe once kind of having a crush on Joey but I think that would have been too much.

The only bad thing about this is knowing it's over! The episode was probably the best ever! I grew up watching Friends and I don't care if the show is over but Friends will always be in every one's hearts forever!

I think that this episode of Friends was the best one yet. I just knew that Rachel and Ross would end up together in the end and that Rachel would never take that job in Paris. It's just like the character Rachel to back out of a sticky situation, so this was no surprise to me. I just think that they could make a mini series showing Chandler and Monica attempted to be parents to Jack and Erika. All in all, this was my favorite episode on television and I watch a lot of tv!!

Friends was one of the greatest shows I've ever seen. The season finale brought me to tears, but watching them grow together over the years has been such a great experience. It's sad to see that it's over, almost like losing a friend. The season finale was an excellent episode and I would highly recomend you buy this along with the other seasons of Friends. You won't be disappointed.

The finale couldn't have been better. The right amount of jokes, but not so much to take away the emotion and feeling. Incredible! Amazing! Touching!.. haha. It can't be over!

First...I am a huge fan of the show. The ending...predictable...although still good. I was not happy with the DVD. There was no commentary by the cast, director, or producers. Perhaps this was an attempt to get it out ASAP...I guess I was expecting more...sigh...Dee

Wow, i still can't believe that Friends is over. It lasted 10 years, and now it's over. The finale was really great, although it did lack a big surprise element in the end. Come on, we all knew that Ross and Rachel were going to end up together. Sure, the twins were a surprise, but that did not contribute to much. This DVD seems great, as it shows how much FRIENDS has evolved from the first to the last episode, i just hope everyone can enjoy it as much as i will.

It couldn't be any better. Amazing is the only word to describe the final finale. It is not only giving viewers a full closure but also giving closure to the characters in 'FRIENDS as well.
