A strange disease is decimating the land and it's up to the hero Cloud to emerge from solitude and defeat a new breed of enemy in the computer animated feature that picks up where Final Fantasy VII (the video game) left off. It has been two years since the events that occurred in the storyline of the video game, and though the ruins of Midger still stand to show the sacrifices made for peace, a new threat to mankind has arrived. With the citizens of the countryside falling deathly ill and old enemies rising from the ashes to seek revenge, Cloud must leap back into action and help his fellow men lest his solitude leave all of mankind vulnerable to another devastating attack.

I wasn't sure if I rent this movie or another one, in the end I got this one...I made the right dissison!!! I had heard of Final Fantasy before and wasn't sure what it was about...after seeing this movie I so want to play this game!!! I think Cloud and Tifa are a cute couple! If there not a couple they should be!!! I had NO idea what was happening a some points in the movie... This year I made a new friend who LOVES Final Fantasy! She told me all about Final Fantasy.

I have to start with: Why couldn't this have been out first? This Final Fantasy installment is EPIC in all sense of the word. After two Final Fantasy movies, the first (Spirits Within) being a complete failure, the second (Advent Children) being much better, though with room for improvement, here in Advent Children Complete we have a complete storyline and plot-rich epic movie with all of our favorite Final Fantasy 7 characters out there and in more action than before. With Complete, many of the things seen in the original version is explained fully, especially referring to exactly how Sephiroth could have possibly been reborn for another reunion. I'm going to refrain from sharing details about the epic final battle, because it's too epic to spoil it. You have to watch it for yourself! This is worth the money and it's a 100% must-see!

Taking place two years after the game final fantasy VII advent children (an 1hr and 40mins) does a great job taking you back to a game that's 40 hours long. I have an imported version of the movie with only subtitles... but still amazing visually and story wise. I would forsure pick up the US version.

When I got this DVD, I took it to school because I promised my friend that I will show her something that I'm sure she'll like. When we watched it using tha laptop in our every lunch time...she was like, OH MY GOSH!!! I told her " See, I told u...". The game, the anime and the movie matches perfectly. I promise if you watch this DVD, you'll hold your breath. There's a lot of action...and the plots are incredible...all the cnaracters look's awesome

dissapointing. everyone said this movie was SOOOO great, and dont get me wrong, im an avid final fantasy lover, but this movie just didnt do it for me. its too hard to understand for those of you who havent played ff7, and a lot of the characters appeared very flat. there were way to many cool fight scenes, and not enough story. the animation was great, but the dubbing TERRIBLE! it was okay for the first, like, 35 minutes, but then the last 55 or so was just one big long fight scene! and the MUSIC! did they TRY to make it not fit the scenes at all!!?? theres one scene where the music is intense because its a big fight scene, but then cloud gets stabed and the music turns to this little cheery jingly music! overall its definately a rent, not a buy.

I loved the movie, it was very neat, the grafic art was sweet. I never played the games before, but I read about all the final fantasy info. I understand the movie. Sooo, I guess I am a fan. I need to get the games! I liked every Character. It's sweet. The Funny thing was that one Tifa and Loz were fighing, the music did not match the part. But hey what can I say Tifa rock,s, it was a good fight. Reno and Rude were funny!!! ^,^

THIS MOVIE IS BLOODY BRILLIANT. If you're a fan of any of the Final Fantasy games, especially FF VII, prepare to fall in love with this movie. It's genius. The animation is incredible!! You can finally view the characters from the video game in CGI glory in this amazing feature film. The only problem with the 2-disc version is the bonus features. I mean, the content is great and everything, but most of it's in Japanese. You had better like subtitles. Oh, if you watch the movie, watch it all the way through, even through the credits 'cause there'll be a little video at the very end. It's not that big of a deal, though. Anyway, BUY THIS MOVIE!!!! You won't be disappointed.
