Michael Nesmith's work is brilliant in this ''video''. The music is quite fine, well produced and accessible to the ears. The visuals, especially the spectacular ''Rio'' are easy on the eyes. It's over 20 years old but it doesn't look that dated. I've watched it dozens of time and I never get tired of it.

I was turned on to Elephant over 20 years ago, and I have to watch it at least once a year. I lent out my VHS several years ago and never got it back, so I go rent it. Every time I see it, I discover something subtle that I had missed before. I'm ordering the DVD today.

Can't wait for the DVD. I have a worn-out VHS version. Way ahead of his time in the 80's, still creative. The title just means a compilation of many snippets and videos.
