The author not only gives you a specific description of how and why the evacuation took place, but he also gives you the history from the beginning of the war leading up to it. Also, he tells how the filmmaker planned and filmed the movie. I learned a lot more of early WW2 and I recommend it.

Dunkirk was so violent I could not finish watching the video. I gave it to some ex servicemen. Never again
