This is the motherload of Dylan-dom. The film is already a classic. But now this DVD box immerses the viewer in the world of 1965. You get the original film restored to look it's best, a new documentary with unseen footage, unreleased audio tracks from the '65 tour, a flip book, the original DON'T LOOK BACK book, director's commentary and much more! Totally worth the price. Perfect for a new fan or a Dylan die-hard.

This film captures real moments like no documentary I've seen before. The film is comprised of random moments while the camera happened to be rolling. Nothing seems staged at all, other than the live performances. It gives you a very clear idea of what Bob Dylan is like as a person and what it would be like to follow him around for a while. A must watch or any lover of good music.

Bob Dylan is indeed the poet in the alley/Strumming his guitar tellin' us his views/Recitin' the news/Enfolding melodies/Like a velvety draped muse/He is the rhymer of reason/ A year of four seasons/ Who takes the time to explain/ Examine the facts, retrace the steps/ Amid the deluge/ Of loss and of pain/ A wayward minstrel/ Who wants everyone to hear/ Come listen to the message/ From a once younger/ Now so much older balladeer/ Some carry a lot of trouble/ Down the road of dust and rubble/ Others wake at the break of noon/ Me, I'll just keep on a listenin'/ Showin' less expression/ But always a whistlin'/ One of my favorite Dylan tunes.
