Doctor Who - The Black Guardian Trilogy 5 out of 5 based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.

The Black Guardian, one of six Guardians that are very powerful, other dimensional creatures, first fought the Fourth Doctor. Now he returns, using the Doctor's future companion Turlough to try and kill him in return for sending Turlough back to his home planet. In my opinion, the best episode is Enlightenment, then Terminus, then Mawdryn Undead. Which is good, because the order is Mawdryn Undead first, then Terminus, then Enlightenment, so it gets more exciting as you watch them. Like a lot of Doctor Who, some things are hard to understand, which might make you want to look up the episodes on Wikipedia after you watch them, but there are a lot of great surprises in all the episodes, so if you can, don't look them up on the internet until you've watched them. Spoliers! While Enlightenment is given in its original four-episode format, it also comes in a new-effects-added movie format, but some short parts from the individual episodes are cut out. Still, all three are exciting, dated a little bit, but entertaining and a good addition to any collection.
