View All Available Formats & Editions

Pat O'Connor's cinematic adaptation of Maeve Binchy's Circle of Friends comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround, and a Dolby Digital Mono Spanish soundtrack is also available. There are no subtitles on this release. Supplemental materials include complete cast bios and the original theatrical trailer. This disc does a fine job capturing the film on home video, but considering the inexpensive list price, that is the best that can be expected. The winning performances by the young cast members shine just as brightly on the small screen as they did in theaters.

This movie was wonderful. In a great way, it touches people's heart. Chris O' Donnel was fantastic! He played his part perfectly. I really, really hope this movie is never forgotten because it is too good!

It is a good dating movie when you don't have a boyfriend yet. Chris O'donnel steals the show. Chris o'donnel you are best at what you do and keep on making great movies. Your biggest 1 fan but i'm not a crazy 1 fan. I just think you are a good actor and i love every movie you were in so far.

The cast is absolutely great and so natural that puts the so-called ''Hollywood beauties'' to shame!!Loved Minnie Driver and Chris O'Donnel, the magic was there!Wish that there was a sequel!!

This movie is the most awesome film starring Chris O'Donnel and Minnie Driver. O'Donnel did a suberb job with his character. I believe he is the best actor in this movie than any of his other movies he was chosen to play a part. The romance and the uncertainy makes it a very enjoyable film to watch.
