When the producer of a popular television cooking program proposes a live Christmas broadcast from the kitchen of the star chef's lavish Connecticut home, the talent-less, media-created cook's elaborate illusion comes crashing down in Warner Brother's release of Director Arnold Schwarzenegger's memorable holiday comedy. The feature is presented in 1.33:1 full-frame and accompanied by a closed-captioned English Dolby Digital Stereo audio mix. In addition to an alternate French Dolby Digital Mono audio selection with optional English, Spanish, and French subtitles, this release also offers viewers access to trailers for both the 1992 and 1005 versions of the film.

It's light, it's fun, and it is sure to get you into the holiday spirit. This movie is great for what it is- a made for TV romantic comedy. I'm giving it 5 stars compapared to some other movies in the same genre- this movie stands out amongst other made for TV movies.

This is a wonderful remake. I really like the old black and white classic version that starred Barbara Stanwyck but I also liked this made for television remake starring Dyan Cannon and Kris Kristofferson and thought it was a cute, amusing and charming movie. Definitely one of the better remakes I have ever seen. I'm so glad that I bought this DVD. As a fan of old black and white movies I also have the original on DVD and I like having both versions!

The original of this is a wonderful, warm, romatic holiday romance. This one is just what you'd expect from a made for tv remake - loses all the warmth and tenderness. Don't bother with it - wait for the real one to be released.

This version was not like the original with Barbara Stanwyck. The original version was a romantic comedy that was believable, but this one is poorly done.
