Set in 1984 and inspired by actual events, this film from director David Scheinmann follows Sir Matt Busby (Brian Cox), the legendary former manager of Manchester United Football, and his serendipitous return from retirement. After tracking down Georgie, the 11-year-old perpetrator of a petty crime, Busby is shocked to realize the boy is a gifted soccer player and captains his own team. Though still scarred by the Munich plane disaster of 1958 that left him alive and eight of his players dead, Sir Matt decides that transforming the boys into a "dream team" will help them make better decisions in the future and perhaps catapult Georgie into athletic superstardom. ~ Tracie Cooper
