Andre Previn: The Kindness Of Strangers

Andre Previn: The Kindness Of Strangers

DVD (Dolby 5.1 / Stereo)

Overview

Colin Graham and Tony Palmer's documentary about the life and music of master conductor Andre Previn comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed captions on this release. Although there are no supplemental materials of any consequence, classical music enthusiasts and anyone who likes a good rags-to-riches story should greatly enjoy this Image release. There is little here, however, to appeal to the average DVD consumer.
