George Lucas' breakthrough film about one night in a California town as the 1950s gave way to the '60s is paired up with its often-overlooked sequel in this DVD twin-pack. American Graffiti and More American Graffiti have both been transferred to disc in letterboxed format at the widescreen aspect ratio of 2.35:1, which has been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. The original English audio for American Graffiti has been mastered in Dolby Digital Surround, while an alternate French-dubbed soundtrack appears in Dolby Digital Mono. More American Graffiti features English-language audio mastered in Dolby Digital 4.0. Both films feature optional subtitles in Spanish and French. The American Graffiti disc features a variety of bonus material, including a documentary on the making of the film, biographies of the cast and crew, original screen tests for several of the stars, a gallery of production stills, and the original theatrical trailer. The bare-bones release of More American Graffiti features no bonus material.
