In an era where the American Dream seems to have faded into a dark new dawn, filmmakers Dinesh D'Souza and John Sullivan ponder what may have become of the world if the U.S. had never come into being. By creating an alternate history in which British forces kill General George Washington during the American Revolutionary War, the filmmakers lay the groundwork for a thought-provoking meditation on the crucial role of the United States on the world stage.

This is not just a conservative propaganda film. It is a summary of some of our importants bits of history which many people may not even be familiar with. And this history puts an entirely different perspective on the politics of today. A must see.

Begins with 'What if George Washington was shot?" Tells history of the United States with actors portraying historic events. Says the United States had control of Mexico and gave half of the country back to them. the further it goes it seems to ramble. Insightful.
