An excellent tribute to a major musical influence from the late 1960'2 into this century. All star cast gives an excellent performance of some great songs! Highlights are numerous, from Warren Haynes singing "Come and Go Blues"; then joined by fellow Allman Brothers' Band guitarist Derek Trucks on "End of the Line"; Derek's wife Susan Tedeschi joining in for "Stand Back"; "You Can't Lose What You Never Had", featuring Devon Allman, Robert Randolph and Jimmy Hall; "stateboro Blues featuring Taj Mahal and Gregg Allman; "One Way Out " with John Hiatt; and several other songs on Disc 1 alone featuring Dr. John, Sam Moore, Pat Monahan, Keb Mo', Trace Adkins, Widespread Panic and Brantley Gilbert. Disc 2 features Jackson Browne joining Gregg for "These Days" and "Melissa"; Mellisa McBride singing "all My Friends", and then joined by Pat Monahan for "Can You Fool"; Vince Gill on "Multi-Colored Lady, then Vince teaming with Zac Brown on "Midnight Rider"; concluding with The Allman Brothers Band on "Dreams " and their signature closing song "Whipping Post". The entire cast comes on stage for a gospel- like rendition of "Will the Circle Be Unbroken". DVD shows entire concert, including artist introductions, while the 2 CD set has only the separate songs without the artist introductions.
