The Buns/legs workout is way more intense then the other two but if you want a good basic kickbox workout this is a great one. I tend to use the weights for the entire arm workout even when she puts hers down. I also use them for the basic training segment and I feel like I get a better work out.
I have a background in martial arts & frankly, it's hard to find a kickbox/martial arts based video in which the instructor's technique isn't absolutely terrible. Where it's completely obvious that they've never had an ounce of martial arts training(And yet, they're instructing a kickboxing workout?!?) This is NOT one of those videos. Kelli Roberts has a martial arts background and so her form is excellent. This is a really challenging workout as well. I have 5 kids, so I love that I can do 3 segments on days that I don't have a lot of time & then 5 segments on days that I do. I feel like the 1st segment is a good warmup, the lower body(segment 2) is tough, the 3rd(arms & shoulders) is a little challenging, but more of a welcome break. The 4th is a decent cardio routine & the 5th is an adequate abs workout. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this workout.
This is one of the best workout DVD's I've ever had. Keli Roberts isn't annoying like many others, and I love that you can do a single workout or make your own personalized workout. I haven't gotten tired of using it yet, and I usually use it five days a week.
I love that this video is broken down into segments; on a busy day I can just do arms and the next day do basic bootcamp, buns & thighs and abs. You can feel the burn during these intense workouts and yet they're not overwhelming at just 10 minutes each. I also appreciate the instructor's commentary as she leads you through proper form and technique. This video delivers results!
