If you like Hip Hop this novel is for you. The hard luck life of a former felon in a dead-end job and the hots for his boss' wife. Unfortunately the Mrs. is a psycho, and the felon owes her thousands of dollars he doesn't have. Some of the stereotypes in this novel made my skin crawl. And Dickey knows his stuff, the book is well researched. But as a writer, he seems to be withholding his talent, opting for financial success rather than literary greatness.A fun read. It's like your favourite gangsta rap album has an accompanying book.

I am a fan of eric jerome dickey but this was not one of his better ones. Too much going on and too hard to follow. I almost stopped reading it altogether.

I listened to the tapes for this one...Got it at Barnes & Noble for $4.99! This was a really good listen and I don't think that I would have given the book a chance. The main character, Driver reminds me of my spouse in stature (tall, black, bald, handsome, muscular, and charming) so I was turned on from the beginning with his character..Ahh-Sukie-Sukie-now!! This story has so many twists and turns it really does keep you going, I listened while I rode in my car so I was eager to get in my car during the time I listened to this story.... The characters in this story are the schemingest (is that a word?) people you could know or get to meet. The twisted relationsips and friendships are over the top. Driver takes you and a journey and in the end you are gonna be like, "Oh it's like that? Holla!" Buckle up for the ride!!

I was very disappointed with this book because I was expecting a ton of drama and excitement. This book took me forever to read because I kept falling asleep. I dont understand how Driver allowed this woman to bully him. Overall this book was a drag because it took way too long before anything started to really happen. I expected so much more from Mr.Dickey. I agree with the other critic that this book was just like 'Theives' Paradise' and I just couldn't get into either one of them.

When I listened to this book, I could picture the characters and lived the experience. The ending was a total surprise for me and made me cry. I loved it!

I loved this book! I Loved the characters and how well developed they were. The story line was great and so was the twist at the end of the book. EJD really kept my attention in this one. I definetly recommend Drive Me Crazy to any and everyone who enjoys reading and doesn't like to waste their time on boring uneventful books.

I thought this book was an amazing journey of a (false) ExCon from the hood being true to himself yet having dreams of making it better. What you see is not always what you get and I got alot from all the playas in this book. Awesome job EJD! Should make a movie. It would be nice for 'made for TV'.-TLR:)!!

I just loved this book. It was so well written and the plot was crazy. I was very pleased to see that Driver got what he wanted in the end. Sade was another of my favorites. Even though she had a small part in the book, she had one of the biggest impacts of the story. Revenge, love, happiness, and drama, these are just some of the characteristics of a great book and this book had it all. I would reccommend it to any and everyone that reads.

This book is amazing. Everytime i had to set it down. i wanted to pick it right back up. It had me turning the page over and over..near the end i couldn't put it down at all. i would definatly recommend this book to anyone.

This book had everything: scandel, scams, murder hits, love, insane ppl, you name this book had it! Lisa was a pure nut, she is not one that should ever fall in love (too nutty). Driver was a soilder, he did what he had to do. The twist in the end with the scam suprised me, I didn't see that coming at all. Overall good book, it keeps you wanting to turn the page and find out more ever when you are dead tired and your eye lids feel like cinder blocks.
