I was a little sad to start reading this story knowing that it was the fourth and final book in the series. However I knew that it would be an unforgettable story and Carly Phillips did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoy Ms. Phillips writing style and Dream is no exception; her characters are strong and easy to relate too and I particularly liked how she built the story up. It was also nice to catch up on the previous three couples and see what is happening in their lives and it was heart warming to watch the love and relationships that they share as they all came together to support Andi, her son Nicky and Kyle. Although a stand alone, I do think you would enjoy reading Dream more if you were to read the previous books in the series. Andi Harmon and Kyle Davenport were best friends, although Andi had no idea of Kyle's true feelings for her. She made her choice, it wasn’t Kyle and this shattered him so he moved away. Fast forward a few years and Andi comes face to face with Kyle again when he returns to Rosewood Bay to teach. Andi has regretted the choices she made for years, with an ex husband who has caused her nothing but grief. Now that Kyle is back they have no choice but to face each other as he is Nicky’s new teacher. For Kyle it is a constant reminder of what he lost but Andi is determined to make up for the past. When Kyle recognises that Nicky has an issue with reading he offers to help and slowly but surely they begin to come to terms with the past. The chemistry between Andi and Kyle was intense, their story real, as they struggled to overcome the challenges life has thrown them and the hurts of the past. I really felt for Kyle, it was obvious that he was really struggling with his feelings , particularly as he learns of the abusive relationship that Andi escaped from. It is obvious that Kyle and Andi have feelings for each other but now that her abusive ex has also returned to town, what will happen? Will they move forward or will their fledgling relationship be doomed to fail ? One click now and find out. This was a great conclusion to what has been a fabulous series from Carly Phillips.

Dream is a second-chance romance in the Rosewood Bay series, and in this book, we get Andi Harmon and Kyle Davenport's story. I was so looking forward to Andi getting her HEA, and I enjoy second-chance romances. Plus, Andi and Kyle were former best friends, which makes it even better. I personally would have liked a bit more development to the characters and their story, but overall, it's a good quick read romance with recurring characters from the previous books and a touch of drama. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A terrific ending to a wonderful series! Great writing, fabulous characters and sweet romance. After Andi was forced to end her relationship with Kyle in high school they are finally back in the same place, Rosewood Bay. Andi is overcoming a bad marriage and making a new life for her son who lands in Kyle’s classroom. They are such a sweet and sexy couple. But can she trust again and have a future with Kyle? He thinks so and plans on winning her over. A fantastic read! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a great story of second chance friends to lovers. The characters are captivating and heartwarming. The story is interesting, with a lot of emotion and suspense. Andi has been thru a lot in her life yet has remained a strong and warm person. It is a well written story that I enjoyed reading and recommend. It is the last in the series however can be read as a stand alone.

This was such a great story that I read it in one day. I loved Andi and Kyle. Plus, bonus was seeing the characters from previous books make an appearance.

4 1/2 STARS! Past mistakes come back to bite her! With the final book in the Rosewood Bay series, we get Andi's story. Her brother Kane got his happily ever after in the first book in the series, and during that book we got to know a bit about Andi's life and were intrigued by her. Now we're seeing her reunite with the man she let get away ... and along the way, she's having to face her past mistakes in full force. Lots of drama, forgiveness and a sexy sweet romance. Really enjoyed this entire series! Andrea Harmon has worked hard to put her past behind her and to build a solid foundation for life with her son. She's divorced, living close to family and friends and happy to have a new chapter going forward. She's surprised to hear that her childhood best friend is going to be her son's new teacher! Kyle Davenport adored Andi all those years ago, but she chose to head off into the sunset with a bad boy and cut off their friendship. She never even realized that he was in love with her. Now he's moving back to Rosewood Bay, and Andi feels the need to apologize and try to make amends for how she treated him, but Kyle's not sure he wants the drama in his life at this point. When he learns a little of what life was like for her back then, he starts to open his heart back up to her a bit ... but will things change when her ex heads back into her life again?

4.25 stars-- DREAM is the fourth instalment in Carly Phillips’ contemporary, adult DREAM erotic, romance series. This is primary school teacher Kyle Davenport, and florist Andrea ‘Andi’ Harmon’s story line. DREAM can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary. Andrea is Kane Harmon’s (Fearless #1) sister. NOTE: Due to the story line content and issues of spousal abuse, DREAM may not be suitable for more sensitive readers. Told from dual third person perspectives (Kyle and Andi) DREAM is a best friends/second chance romance focusing on primary school teacher Kyle Davenport, and florist Andrea Harmon. Ten years earlier Andrea Harmon broken Kyle Davenport’s heart, in fact, Andrea destroyed any remnants of their friendship by pushing away the only man she would ever love. Broken and bitter, Kyle left Rosewood Bay in search of something more, only to return to his hometown where he will face the woman he has always loved. A single mother of a nine year old boy, Andi will come face to face with her past when she discovers her son’s teacher is the boy whose heart she broke and shattered. What ensues is the rebuilding friendship and love between Andi and Kyle, and the potential fall-out as Andi’s past refuses to let go, and threatens any potential happiness for her future happily ever after. Andi and Kyle were best friends for most of their lives until the day Andi pushed Kyle away, opting for the high school quarterback, and the excitement it brought for the foreseeable future. Kyle, broken and battered, ran from Rosewood Bay in an effort to forget about the girl he left behind, a girl whose own life would be shattered by the choices she made. The relationship between Kyle and Andi is a former best-friends to lovers/second chance relationship that quickly develops into something more. As the school year progresses Andi and Kyle would reconnect and revisit what happened and why, until Andi’s past threatens to destroy their hard-fought reunion. The $ex scenes are passionate and seductive without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. All of the previous story line couples play secondary and supporting characters including Kane and Halley (Fearless#1), Phoebe and Jake (Breathe #2) , Braden and Juliette (Freed #3), as well as Kane and Andi’s father, a man whose own demons continue to ride him hard. We are introduced to Andi’s son Nicky, and he ex-husband Billy, a man who is determined to make Andi’s life miserable. DREAM is a story of family and friendship, romance and love, second chances and happily ever after. The premise is sexy, sassy and inspiring ; the characters are colorful, animated, strong and real; the romance is stirring and moving. DREAM is a quick read; a passionate and energetic story about two people torn apart by stupidity, broken dreams and the volatile nature of domestic abuse.

What a fantastic ending to this series!! It had the perfect amount of suspense to it, and had me sucked in the entire time. I loved Kyle and Andi together, and how Kyle knew exactly what Andi needed to completely heal. I would definitely one click this!

I love this series so much. The characters are wonderful. This book was no different. I like a good second chance romance and this was a good one. Andi puled at my heart. This single mom is doing the best she can after a not so good marriage. I loved watching through out the book seeing her gain the confidence in herself. It's truly beautiful. Kyle her former best friend is now back in town the teacher of her son. Things are about to get very interesting. This book has it fun light-hearted moments, but also some serious sit on the edge of your seat moments. It's a great story that hooked me right from the beginning and one you don;t want to end.

*3.5 stars* A true second chance romance story with 2 former lovers reunited by chance and faced with a chance to rekindle their love. There are definite hurdles in their path though but I was rooting for them to make it as I thought Andy could use something good in her life for once! Can be read as a standalone although I would recommend reading the others in the series too as I did enjoy them a bit more than this one but all lead to your enjoyment and understanding of the characters in this book.

Heartwarming, sweetly sexy, fun and engaging second chance romance filled with determination and the promise of a new beginning...... Their childhood friendship may have ended in heartbreak but that was then and this is now...... Loved it! Welcome back to Rosewood Bay (I love this place) Kyle Davenport is back home and teaching at the local school. Andrea Harmon is finally in a happy place in her life and moving on raising her son alone when his new teacher turns out to me someone she never thought she would see again.... Kyle was her best friend once upon a time, now he is her son's 4th grade teacher. They get to know each other all over again.. so sweet.

What a way to end this series! I love when everyone gets their happy ending even when they don't think they deserve one or think they want one. Andi has finally learned to stand on her own and is not looking over her shoulder every time she goes out and her son is doing well and now they are getting ready to start a new year at school. Her son has a new teacher and she knows him well, they were best friends in school until she was forced to sever all ties with him just as she was with all her friends and family. Her husband was abusive and possessive but she is now free if him, or is she. He is back and he is targeting her again, just when she has found her happy. Andi has reunited with Kyle, her son's new teacher, and her former best friend, and those feelings and more are blossoming and taking root. This story was so good and seeing the rest of the family and how they are growing brought out all the feels! You could read this book as a standalone but WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO! This entire series is just great and I recommend it. **Received this ARC for review**

WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! I was blown away by how much I loved Dream, book four in Carly Phillips’ Rosewood series. Andi learned how to be an independent, strong single mom after her divorce from her abusive, bully of a husband. Getting a second chance with her former best friend, Kyle, was not what Andi expected when she learned he returned to town and would be her son’s teacher. Understanding all that Andi tolerated helped Kyle come to terms with his anger at her and view her in a different life. I was so glad to see Andi be a take care person to keep herself and her son safe from her ex-husband. Once that happened, Andi could take on anything. Kyle was a wonderful role model for Andi’s son, showering him with positive attention and compassion. These two were perfect for each other. Ms. Phillips is a wonderful storyteller as demonstrated in this amazing story and the characters she created for it. I really enjoyed reading this book and had a lot of trouble putting it down. This is a great story with plenty of angst, tugging at the heartstrings, romance and some sexy time. I highly recommend this book to other readers and am sad to see another series end. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

ARC for honest review with no compensation received from Booksprout Dream is book 4 and the final book in he Rosewood Bay series by Carly Phillips and like the other books in this series it is a standalone, well written and intertwined with the other books... Kyle and Andi were chilhood best friends but when Andi became involved with the high school jock who was a controlling, angry person he made her push Kyle away which she did and broke Kyle and her hearts. Now years later Kyle has come back to town and when they meet again it seems the sparks are still there but its more than just best friends... Cam these two put the past behind them and let the chemistry come forward so they can find a way to their HEA?? What a great way to wrap up this series and see whats been happening with the other couples in the prior books! !

4.5 Stars This is book 4 in the Rosewood Bay series and it features Andi and Kyle. The pieces are finally starting to fit together for this family. Andi is great and I love how strong she is after leaving her abusive marriage. How great is it to be able to reconnect with your best friend after so many years apart! Kyle is amazing. These two are so great together. In the beginning I did have a hard time seeing the love between them. It felt a little robotic to me but that didn’t last long. Their relationship is a very mature one, not only because she is so focused on her independence that there’s little time for fun but because she's always looking for signs of him being like her ex. I have loved my time spent in Rosewood Bay with the fabulous story line and the amazing characters. I look forward to the next adventure with this author.

Andrea and Kyle had me from the start. The dark past that Andrea has to overcome and the betrayal Kyle felt was a huge hurdle to get through. With both of their past staring right at them, they build something special from it. I was completely wowed over Dream and the series as a whole. Rosewood Bay has become my new book world that I would love to visit over and over again!

This was such a great story. So many emotions and real life drama. Andi was married to an abusive man. She dealt with physical, mental and emotional abuse while trying to protect her child from the same abuse. Two years ago she finally had enough and left. Although she had a family nearby, she never relied on them for any kind of support during this time. Her ex alienated her from all of her friends so when she finally regained her independence she was a loner. She feared getting into another relationship. This is so common in real life abuse situations. I felt the author portrayed this very well and realistic. Now, her best friend is back in town. Originally he wants nothing to do with her personally, but his feelings change the more time they spend together. Although it kills him to go slow and be cautious, he does and is. He knows he has to if they are ever to have a chance at a relationship that is more than friendship. I found this book very heartwarming and emotional to see them both grow, as individuals and as a couple. Her struggling with her fears and her need for independence while accepting that it's ok to ask for help and share the burden. Him with accepting her need for independence and proving that she can do anything but yet providing needed support.

What a great story! I was so hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t get enough! This was a sweet, once were best friends turned lovers. After some bad mistakes in Andi’s life, she is trying to change that. Kyle Davenport returns to his home town for a job and Andi’s son just so happens to be his student. The storyline is great and intriguing. Andi and Kyle have this wonderful connection and add in Nicky the love able kid. Loved seeing all the other characters from the other books in the series as well. I’m so glad Andi got her HEA after all! Loved this book!

This second chance at love/friends to lovers romance provides readers with a storyline that is sweet, heartbreaking, passionate and very emotional. I loved Andi and was so happy to see her get her shot at happiness. She really deserved it and even more she earned it after everything she's been through. I liked Kyle but I didn't always like his actions or his attitude. I know he was hurt but still, I felt his reactions were over the top once all things were considered. Still, I greatly enjoyed the book and have these two get the HEA that they might have had so much sooner if things had been done differently.

This was the final book in the series, and I really enjoyed it, and the entire series. Andi Harmon is the sister of the hero from book 1, Kane. She's a single mom of a sweet 8-year-old boy named Nicky, and she's divorced from her abusive ex-husband. He left her for another woman, and signed full custody of their son over to her. She got everything she wanted, and she's been so much happier on her own. Her ex had forced her to limit her contact with friends and family, so she's finally getting back the closeness she'd missed with her brother, and her dad, though he has his own problems. The one thing she regretted the most was hurting her best friend. 10 years ago she cut off her best friend, Kyle, to try to protect him from her ex's wrath. He left town and she hasn't seen or spoken to him since. But, now he's not only back in town, he's her son's new teacher. She'll have to figure out a way to interact with him again, for Nicky's sake. Kyle Davenport left town for college after Andi broke his heart by breaking off their friendship. He was always in love with her, but was never brave enough to tell her the truth, and then it was too late. His parents are getting older, and he wanted to move back home, even though it meant having to see and interact with Andi again. He had no clue how much he'd be doing that though, until he realized her son was in his class. He still holds a lot of anger towards Andi for how she hurt him, but he has to deal with her as part of his job. Also, he can't help but still be drawn to her, and it's making him crazy. Kyle and Andi's chemistry was strong from the start, though they were both fighting it. Also neither of them were being honest, with themselves or each other, about their connection, or the lies and half-truths that separated them in the past. Andi had no idea of Kyle's true feelings for her when they were younger, and he had no idea that she only cut him off to protect him from her dangerous ex. Once everything was out in the open, they were really able to move forward with open hearts, and I liked watching their journey. Andi's ex was a piece of work, and I was glad to see her finally stand up to him, the way she never had in the past. That storyline was an especially good one, and I loved seeing how everything turned out with all of that. I've enjoyed this whole series, so I was thrilled to see and catch up a little with the whole cast of characters from the prior books. I love the friendships between all the ladies, and I liked seeing them interact together again in this story. Andi's dad was a great character, though his personal issues were pretty serious. My only real issue with this book involved him as well. I would've liked to see a little more of the fallout for him from his actions in this story, and what they led to. I feel that would've made the story a little more well-rounded, and possibly put it up to a 5 star book for me. Especially, since this was the final book in the series, and our last chance to see all these great characters. Overall I enjoyed this series and I definitely recommend it for anyone, especially fans of this author's prior works. I'm anxiously looking forward to her upcoming new series!

Andrea's life hasn't always gone the way that she hoped it would but she wouldn't change it because then she wouldn't have her son. She hates that all those years ago she hurt her best friend and ended a friendship that was a huge part of her life. She wishes that she could fix things but so many years have passed she isn't sure if that is possible. When she learns that her son's new favorite teacher is Kyle, the friend she hurt, she knows that she must come to terms with what happened all those years ago. Kyle has moved back to his home town and is looking forward to teaching at a new school. When he realizes that one of his students is the son of his once best friend he isn't quite sure how he feels. He is still hurt by Andrea ending their friendship all those years ago but knows that at some point he will have to talk to her. Kyle can tell that her son is having issues with his reading and knows that running into her is going to happen sooner rather than later. Follow along as these two work through fear, trust, understanding, and maybe even love. This was such a lovely romance that had you rooting for them to find love and hoping that they could leave the past behind and work toward a future together. I can't wait to see what the author brings to us next.
