Overview

"I laughed (a lot), cried (a little), and wanted to stab a certain family member. DON'T LET IT SNOW IN DEADWOOD brings all the feels!"—Renee George, USA Today Bestselling Author

It's Christmas Eve and Violet Parker has one request on her list for Santa—to make it home to her kids. Unfortunately, "home" is also the lair of her life-long nemesis, her sister Susan (aka the devil's concubine).

Standing in Violet's way is Old Man Winter, who slammed the Black Hills with a show-stopping blizzard. However, a little snow isn't going to ground her sleigh, not with family counting on her to deliver Santa's goods.

Trying to keep Christmas from turning into a candy cane calamity, Violet battles her demons and struggles through the chaos storming around her.

Can she make it through the holiday without cracking anyone's nut?

"Keep your fingers crossed this whole holiday doesn't blow up in our faces."
—Violet Parker

This is my favorite series ever. I simply love all the characters, the plots and the craziness. I'll read anything Ann Charles writes.

No action. Lots of filler and repetition. Minimally moved the story forward. Really a disappointment.

I'm always glad to be able to join Violet in her adventures in South Dakota. The characters are fresh and lifelike. This was a wonderful Christmas story meant to be read any time of the year. As always, I'm left ready for the next one.

Ann has done it again! She always knows how to make you feel like your in the book... I would love to hang out with Violet and the gang... If you haven't read the series you don't know what your missing.. pick up your copy today!!! It’s a story about family. It’s a story about snow. It’s a story about the roller-coaster emotions and head-banging frustrations that come with too much family and snow. Full of twists and turns, and a jaw-dropper or two, this triple-sized holiday tale should last longer than a double decaf low-fat latte with medium foam dusted with a breath of nutmeg and a tiny sprinkle of crushed candy canes. “Winter wonderland, my ass,” I bellyached, my teeth chattering while the frigid wind rocked me in my boots. Snow pelted my face, sticking to my eyelashes. I shivered, my shoulders pulling in tight as I stood in the middle of the two-lane highway. My SUV’s headlights blazed from behind me, but in a storm this fierce, the bright beams of light weren’t much help. They reflected off the swirling flakes, blinding me rather than illuminating the vast stretch of dark, empty snow-covered road in front of me. ~Violet Parker #AnnCharles #DeadwoodMysterySeriesBook10 #Don’tLetItSnowInDeadwood AnnCharles.com #NewAnnCharlesBook http://anncharles.com/books/

ANN! You have done it again! Could not put the book down as I enjoyed the holiday drama, comedy, romance and mystery of Violet's family and friends. I am always sad when I finish one of your books because I have to wait for the next one. The entire Deadwood Series plus Jackrabbit with the Morgan sisters and Dig Site with Quint's adventures are always fabulous reads. Bring more onh!

You will laugh out loud at the crazy Christmas antics of Violet and her gang! This is an amazing story about surviving the holidays with the people you call family-whether they be blood or by choice! Ann Charles has completely captivated me once again with another Deadwood tale, and I can't wait for the next one!

You can't choose your family but you can choose your friends. As Christmas threatens to go downhill big time, Violet recognizes this truth as her posse of friends comes to the rescue. This is another enjoyable tale of good (friends and family) and evil (bitch half-sister Susan). Merry reading!

You will laugh out loud from start to finish? Violet family is almost as crazy as the Morgan sisters. Christmas will never be the same again. Aunt Zoe won't let Reid back into her life. Natalie is still playing hard to get with Cooper. Susan has done it again. Will things ever change?? Know you will love this book. Can't wait for the next book. joy943

Ann has done it yet again. This is a great Christmas story with a shocking twist that had my jaw dropping. Love Violet and the gang. Can’t wait for the next one.

It's Christmas time hilarity as Violet tries to make it to her parent's house and to her kids for the holiday while trying to keep her calm knowing that the demon that her parents call her sister is waiting to pounce! This is her and Doc's first Christmas together and her nerves are already rattled knowing her sister has already been sniffing around, and with their history, there is no telling what hell the woman is going to conjure up! It takes a village, well her entire circle of friends at least, to help Violet battle Old Man Winter and her inner demons to make it home for the holidays. Once again, I laughed out loud from the very beginning to the last page as Ann recounts a tale of Christmas gone haywire in her unique style.
