The TARDIS takes the Doctor and Rose to a destination in deep space - Justicia, a prison camp stretched over seven planets, where Earth colonies deal with their criminals. While Rose finds herself locked up in a teenage borstal, the Doctor is trapped in a scientific labour camp. Each is determined to find the other, and soon both Rose and the Doctor are risking life and limb to escape in their distinctive styles. But their dangerous plans are complicated by some old enemies. Are these creatures fellow prisoners as they claim, or staging a takeover for their own sinister purposes?

Featuring the Ninth Doctor and Rose as played by Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper in the hit Doctor Who series from BBC Television

"I said 'Rose Tyler'." The Doctor said. "Yeah?" Rose prompted. "And how's that sentence going to end?" *tellhertelltellhertellhertellhertellher* Donna was telepathically shouting at him. *Say it!* ".... I just..." he stamered. "Rose..." Rose looked at him with big, mournful, brown eyes. "You've found someone, 'aven't you? Someone new." She said. "What?" "I figured you would." Rose went on. "No girl will ever be too good for you." By this time, the tears were making their way down her face. The Doctor thought his heart would rip in half, right then and there. "But it's alright. I- I'll never be good enough-" Rose began, but was stopped when the Doctor grabbed her shoulders fiercely and looked her straight in the eye. "Stop it." he snapped. "Just stop it." "Doctor-" Rose tried but the Doctor was busy fuming. "Don't you EVER say that you're not good enough for me, Rose Tyler." he said through nearly clenched teeth. "Don't. You. Dare." "Well it's tr-" Rose tried to interject, but the Doctor wasn't having it. "No. Don't you want to hear the end of that sentence?" he asked, before (half-smirking, half-glaring in a way that was actually quite scary) he guestured her over (Rose looking slightly terrified). Brushing her hair away from her ear, the Doctor whispered a sentence that he should have said a long time ago: "Rose Tyler, I love you."

Of all the Doctor Who books (not including audio) that I've gotten, this one is my fav! I usually like #10 better than #9 but this book was so well written and there were so many twists and turns it was great to read!

I read this book just for fun and it is now circulating throughout my school. A very good book, especially if you are new to the series.

It is quite exciting. My favorite part was when Rose got chased by a Slitheen.

This was a little disappointng after the first Doctor Who book I read. It suffered from a lack of interaction between the Doctor and Rose and I didn't feel that Rose acted completely in character. It was nice to see the Slytheen in the book but I just didn't like the general set-up.

This was pretty good. It got a bit too technical at some points, which made it slow (for me), but it wouldn't be Doctor who without it I guess.
