This book is three short stories; two that follow Undead and Uneasy, the third follows Swimming without a Net. All of them give you a bit more detail into the lives of the characters you have come to love in both series. If you have not read either series - you will not enjoy this book. It is not a stand-alone story. It is filler for characters and side stories that you have to already know about. If you enjoyed either of these though, you will LOVE this book. Keeps me wanting more by the same author!

Mary Janice Davidson is a clever storyteller and obviously she doesn't take her characters seriously. Her novels might be considered chick flick by some but it's all good. Reminds me of those Meg Ryan and Drew Barrymore flick, smart, sassy and definitely she'll make you laugh with her heroine's antics and smart comebacks.

Undead and Unwed : A Honeymoon Story - Picks up the tale straight after the wedding on Betsy and Sinclair's honeymoon. They get more than they bargained for when Jessica and Nick tag along. Plus teenagers are being murdered near their hotel which looks to be more than just a coincidence. Can Nick get along with the vampires while they solve the mystery, or will his antagonism just make things worse.

Maryjanice Davidson is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite authors along with Laurell K. Hamilton. She is witty, hilarious, and writes some yummy yummy steamy scenes too!! I have read almost every book she has written and I cannot wait till she writes more!

I'm a huge fan of the corky humor within the majority of Davidson's work. I love her character developements and plots but this book was not a favorite of mine. I guess I was expecting so much more than what I got.
