Overview

Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev's Eisner award-winning run is collected across three titanic trade paperbacks! In this volume, Matt Murdock is forced to reckon with the problems and legal ramifications that have emerged as a result of his public outing. The last thing he needs is the return of Typhoid Mary—one of his deadliest foes, a schizophrenic predator who terrorizes her targets with a seemingly inexhaustible lust for bloodshed. But even worse is her connection to Wilson Fisk, who's back in Hell's Kitchen—attempting to restore his fallen empire and exact revenge against those who ousted him fromhis once untouchable position of Kingpin of Crime.

Basically, if you liked the issues preceding this collection, then you'll probably like this collection too. Daredevil's life, now that he has been "outed" as a superhero, continues to spiral out of control. Lots of people are gunning for him - first the Owl, who is flooding the streets with a new drug and is taking over the Kingpin's former territory; then the Yakuza, who want a piece of Hell's Kitchen for their own; and of course the constant media barrage. Some of Murdock's friends even wonder if he's had a mental breakdown. Maleev's art continues to make a good story a great one; it really fits the dark and gritty tone of Bendis' tale.
