I always read these books before I pass them on to my grandchildren. They are such a good way to learn history. Easy, fast read for older ones and great beginner books for 2nd and 3rd graders.

Have not read this book as it was a gift for my grandson. It had been just published which precluded me from reading it before I had to send it. As a retired elementary school educator, I have read most of the others in the previous series and highly recommend them for the way they stir children's imaginations to new levels. I love the creativity of the author who not only imparts valuable information to the readers but also stimulates the child's curiosity to seek out further investigation about the topic covered in each book.
